the music app, after the GB upgrade, now gives me lyrics with my songs.I enabled Lyrics in the settings area. Some how I touched the screen and turned off the lyrics. The check mark said it was still enabled but no lyrics. Is there a toggle somewhere else. I tried for a while and had no luck. Came back 10 minutes later and I have lyrics.

View 9 Replies View RelatedSimilar to a previous question, one day after purchasing the Razr I played a song with the included My Music player via MotoCast and enjoyed the lyrics display. Immediatly after playing the song I played it again and could not get the lyrics to reappear. No setting changes on the Razr, tried everything suggested in the forums including other songs, pressing on the song window, etc. Live music information setting shows green check mark next to "Song Lyrics."

I have all my music set to availible offline, so it is all stored locally on my phone, but the HDMI entertainment app doesn't detect any music, nor does the motoblur music app. I don't really care about the motoblur music app but how can I get my music recognized by the HDMI entertainment system app (is app the right word for the HDMI entertainment interface?), or is there a new app I can get that will recognize the music synced by google music?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a non-us atrix with Bell Mobility.Everything works well except when I tried loading it with music and playing them.The play speed is too fast so it sounds wierd.I tried using the OEM player and a few other ones (Win Amp, Power Amo) but the results are the same.Si it does not appear to be a problem with the player.In addition, when I played a video (MP4), the video plays normally, but the audio sounds similarly wierd (i.e. with high pitch as if it is played at high speed).
View 11 Replies View RelatedI have a 2009 Acura TSX w/Tech Package. I'm attempting to play music on my Motorola Atrix HD, but the TSX's bluetooth doesn't detect my phone. When I plug the phone into the USB connector in the center console the TSX still doesn't detect anything.
Does anyone know what I need to do in order to play music on my Atrix HD through the TSX's system?
For some reason, walking to my car this morning, my Atrix began to play an audiobook file (MP3). One that I had listened to days ago.
After months of using the phone and happily listening to audio books this issue has just occured this morning.
I swiped open the phone only to find that the (stock) music player was not actually running. Have not been able to find a way to stop the file(s) from playing.
Observations:
1. rebooting the phone simply restarts the playback of the file from its begining.
2. When the phone is sleeping (screen black), I have no control of the volume (as I would using media player)
3. If I swipe the phone to vibrate or silent, the playback goes silent (though I believe it continues playing)
4. I don't believe I have any ther media players installed.
5. Attempting to play a file in the (stock) music player, results in the file trying to play (the slider moves left to right), but only the audiobook is audible.
6. Have tried cycling power, removing battery, and ManageApps->clearing cache, and even uninstalling a number of downloaded apps - nothing helps.
7. I don't believe my phone vibrates any longer when I receive a notification for incoming text or email.
Does anyone know if/how to change the storage location for music? For photo and video you can do via a setting from within app but I don't see such a setting from within music app.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have my screen timeout set at 2 minutes. When using the music player, the screen does indeed shut off after 2 minutes, but a minute or so later the music player stops. If I set the screen timout to never timeout, the music player keeps playing. Is this a problem with all Atrix's or just mine? Also, while I have your ear, how do I actually SHUT THE MUSIC PLAYER? I don't mean just pause the music, I mean the off button?

This is happening even after a factory reset. This had so far occured with Winamp (which I haven't reinstalled since my factory reset), Amazon MP3 and Google Music Beta. This has occured both while I was listening to the music on my Bluetooth headset (Jawbone ICON) and also just playing it back via the built-in speaker.

View 5 Replies View RelatedHow do I control which music player is used when my phone is connected to my car's bluetooth? Or, is there anyway to disable the stock music player? For example, I have the atrix's stock music player, google music, and spotify installed on my phone, and the phone will randomly select which one it would like to use when the bluetooth connects. Even if I was just listening to google music, when the bluetooth connects, the phone will automatically switch to the stock player (even though last time I was in the car I was using google music).
Sometimes I'll be listening to google music, and when I change the song it will revert to the stock player. How to make it so that the music always stops when bluetooth disconnects? The music player will randomly keep playing or pause when I turn the car off. I want it to always pause. This seems to be affected by random music programs being installed (even when not in use) such as spotify or iheartradio.
Whenever I connect my Atrix 2 to my car stereo via bluetooth, DoubleTwist comes up and immediately starts playing the last album I happened to be playing on it. I have several music players installed, and would like to configure the phone so another is the default. Any way to do this? I've tried browsing to a music file and pressing it to bring up the "Complete action using..." dialog, but the app I want to use (PowerAMP) is not listed among the choices. Am I out of luck on this, or just restricted to those apps that show in the popup?

I can see all of my songs on the default media player on my atrix... but when I try and upload the files through the Motorola portal (from phone to pc) not all of the songs are there... There are none on the internal storage drive.. Where are they or why are the files not read on the sd card?
