Motorola Atrix 4G :: Auto-show Dial Pad On/off?
Apr 29, 2012I'm having a senior moment, I choose the option to "auto show dial pad", and now I don't remember how to turn it off. Does anyone know how?

Motorola Droid Razr :: Cannot Auto-dial A Conference Bridge?
Apr 25, 2012One thing I miss that my old Blackberry could do is to automatically dial both the conference bridge number and the passcode. In the location field on calendar appointments I could type the conference bridge number, then "x" and then the passcode. When I clicked the number, it would dial it, and then prompt me to enter the passcode. For example, if the number was 800-555-1212 Passcode 1234, I would enter it in the calendar as 8005551212x1234. It would dial the number, and then prompt me to click ok to enter the passcode number (1234). The RAZR will let you memorize one conference bridge, but that is all.

Oct 27, 2011I have a Motorola Atrix on AT&T. I've called technical support multiple times but still have the issue. In my apartment, my phone shows full bars but when I dial a call out, the phone will hang up right away. Other times it will hang itself up and error "call failed".
I've been to the corporate store where they have given me a new SIM card, but it still does not fix my issue. I am trying to figure out if this is a hardware or network issue so I can contact the right people to have the issue fixed.
If my phone is showing full bars that means I have network coverage.
Motorola Atrix 4G :: Voice Dial Stopped Working Over Bluetooth
Oct 20, 2011Just recently my voice-dial over my bluetooth stopped working - when I hit the button on my headset, all it does it redial the last number I had dialed. I'm not aware of any phone updates since it last worked. I've powered the phone off and on and still no luck. It was bad enough when I had to "wake it up" in order to use it. This is very frustrating - when I'm driving, I'm on the highway. I'm not stopping regularly for traffic lights so I can dial!

Jun 15, 2011I first discovered that the camera is locked on fixed focus about a week ago when I tried to take a picture of a barcode. The camera takes good pictures as long at the subject is atleast 2' away. This camera actually does not auto focus or focus at all (do some tests yourself). The irony is that there is a "macro" mode under the scenes setting but that does not help either. I called Motorola and they seem to be aware that their phone which is advertised as having auto focus does not actually focus. They have no estimate on a fix for this problem.

Jun 7, 2011I have the brightness of my Atrix automatically adapted however I feel that I could live with generally two or three levels lower and therefore save battery life? It is impossible to have every name in any database, so if I capitalize a word, it should just leave it alone. I have typed so many things on fb and elsewhere only to see a name of a person or place coming up something ridiculous after I put it up.

Jul 4, 2011I have noticed that my screen rotation no longer works on my Atrix. The phone still detects the correct orientation (AndroSensor app's 'Orientation' degrees change correctly as I rotate the phone). Games that rely on the accelerometer still function normally. The operating system just seems to do nothing when I rotate. Browser doesn't go to landscape, and other apps that normally can switch to landscape, just don't. The setting to Auto-rotate is checked.I have pulled the battery, I have rebooted, I have tried changing settings, rebooting, changing them again, but I can't get it to work as it did a few days ago. Searching this sort of problem online seems to come up with similar issues with other people across a myriad of different Android devices, yet no one really has any solution on how to fix besides doing a 'factory reset'. A factory reset doesn't seem to be a good fix for this to me.
The closest reasonable explanation I can come up with is that with the added Motorola software, there might possibly be another 'rotation' setting behind the scenes that we can't access that got out of sync with the normal Android rotation settings (read on how this might be an explanation for the problem on Samsung phones), but who knows what is really going on. Very annoying though, since the phone sensors appear to be working properly. I can't even write a simple text message in landscape mode because of this, making it frustratingly difficult with the small on-screen keys on the regular mode.
Motorola Atrix 4G :: Auto Entering/completing Text Entries
Aug 25, 2011Has anybody figured out how to stop the auto entering of words within a text message? I've looked through all the settings, and just can't figure it out. Before the update, I use to be able to just double hit the space bar to make a period. Now, I've noticed that depending on the last word I typed, it will also throw in another word that it "thinks" I'm going to enter.

Aug 13, 2011On 1.83, a Contact will show as many phone numbers as I entered for it.But on 2.3.4, if one of the numbers is non-standard, like "*82-1-800-555-1212" (entered without the hyphens, of course), it doesn't show up under that contact. It still stores it, but I can't use it, can't dial with it, etc...Is there any way around this bugEdit: It shows up okay, if it's the *only* number for that Contact. Jun 28, 2011I have recently updated my Bell Atrix to the latest version that came out. I did it OTA and everything went great. Some applications appear much smaller on the screen than they should. Now I have to dial 6145555 and it pops her name up. Is there a way to change this??
