Feb 13, 2015I updated to Denim and 8.1 last night. My outlook.com email stopped syncing today at 2:00pm.
Error code: 8600010F for server bay402-m.hotmail.com.

This is the third BB I have used, but it's the first time I have been without IT support from my employer (I work as a contractor).I have three email addresses coming in to my BB, but the one that's my personal email from Shaw.I have MS/Office Outlook and the most recent version of the BB Desktop software on my laptop. I can synch my calendar and my contacts, but I don't even get an option to synch my email or file email in folders on my BB. In fact, the option doesn't even show on the BB desktop software.....Is my problem with Shaw, or is the problem with the BB desktop software?

Then, I tried to sync my Outlook account, but it keeps failing?My outlook is my own privtae Outlook (Pop3) account from home - so not on a work server or network. I've entered all the details, passwords, pop & smtp, etc. but it won't work?nyone got any ideas on how I can complete this? I want to pick up my Outlook emails on the go as it's my main contact email for business and 1000's of people have this address. (Not worried about my contacts or anything just yet, I can always merge these to a Gmail account, but I'm lost without my email.

Apr 7, 2014I've got my company (exchange) email set to sync every 15 minutes. It only does so occasionally. Last night it didn't sync for 6 hours, this morning it was 51 minutes. It didn't always work when I had it set on "as items arrive" either. My Live and Gmail accounts seem to work just fine on the 15 minute setting.

I know you can use the USB cable but on my old nokia all you had to do is have a bluetooth connection from the phone to the computer in order sync up witht the outlook. Mar 29, 2010I recently purchased a Nokia E63 and want to sync this with my work PC. As it can't connect via Bluetooth, I have to set up a new Sync profile.
I've entered the connection settings as follows:
Server version = 1.2 (default)
Server ID = None (default)
Data bearer = Internet (other option is Bluetooth)
Access point = Always ask
Host address = https://owa1.hiq.net.nz
Port = 443
User name = none
Password = none
Allow sync requests = No
Network authentication = Yes
Network user name = ######
Network password = **********
I'm syncing only my calendar and contacts from Outlook.
However, when I select to sync it searches for access points and only gives me the following options (I'm using the Vodafone network in New Zealand):
Search for WLAN
VFNZ Internet
VF NZ PXT
VFNZ Streaming
Vodafone Live!
None of these work, so I'm not sure how to get things working and syncing through my USB connection.
IPhone :: Syncing Calendar From PC And Not Using Outlook?
Feb 10, 2010I'm gonna try and explain this as simply as possible (as it's for my dad, so I'll have to explain it to him the same way)! My dad likes using the native IPhone 3G calendar for keeping his appointments. However, he doesn't use the calendar in Outlook, so when he needs to enter something into the IPhone calendar, he has to do it right on the phone.
What he'd like to do is be able to enter the info into a PC-based calendar via the keyboard (he says it's much faster because of the amount of info he's entering), and then have it sync the info into the IPhone calendar. Again, He does not use outlook calendar. So what I'm basically asking is this is there a PC-based calendar program that he could use that would then allow ITunes to sync his PC-based calendar to his IPhone calendar?

Sep 5, 2011I am new to Blackberry and this site which is rather overwhelming! I have what is probably a simple question but I can't figure it out. I have a Blackberry Bold 9780 with Software version 6.0.2.44. I sync with Outlook (Office Professional 2010). The Blackberry sync mode seems to delete calender entries on Outlook after about a month. I like to retain the entries but I cannot find an option on the sync set-up that stops this.

If I select reject it does not sync updated details. How can I resolve this? Basically I do not want to delete any old appointments. I have selected the accept button and it wiped out all my old appointments.

Here's our setting We had Blackberry Enterprise server professionnal 4.0.17 or something like that we upgraded to Blackberry server Express 5.0.3 MR 1 (Bundle 19) for Exchange server
we had Microsoft Exchange 2003 and we upgraded to 2010 Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Version 14.1.218.15 with service pack installed Update Rollup 5 SP1 and Update Rollup 4-V2 SP1
The issue is with some Blackberry device when you add something to the Black Calendar it's not showing up into Outlook calendar.
I tried to removed every cical ligne into the services book and resend the service book from the blackberry server, had no luck
I tried these steps :On the BlackBerry smartphone, open the Calendar application.Click the Menu button and click Options.Set the Wireless Synchronization option to No.Click the Menu button and click Save.Set the Wireless Synchronization option to Yes.Click the Menu button and click Save. Turning wireless calendar synchronization on and off will reset the calendar database on the BlackBerry smartphone.Create a calendar entry in Microsoft Outlook and verify that the entry wirelessly synchronizes to the BlackBerry smartphone.no luck too.
BB Curve :: Contacts Not Syncing To Outlook?
Mar 8, 2012I have the BB Curve 8530. A long time ago this once worked and I had 126 contacts on my cell and in outlook. 2 crashed laptops later I have never been successful to get those 126 contacts back in Outlook. I have 2 email accounts set up on my Blackberry. I have tried deleting the service book, deleting and reinstalling the BB Desktop Software and it will only sync the contacts from my gmail account (26 entries) and not the one from my verizon (126 entries)

Jan 4, 2010I own a BB Curve 8520. Before having setup the BIS, I could synchronize all my Outlook stuff with the device (contacts, tasks, calendar, ...) via USB as well as bluetooth.
Since I have set up BIS, I can still synchronize my contacts with Outlook, but even when I configure the Calendar to be synched as well, nothing happens. No errors are shown in the log. Seems that the calendar sync is just skipped.
