Apr 8, 2010Ever since I got my Nokia 2320 (which for some unknown reason is not listed on this site) back in December, it ran slow when I turned it on and took a few minutes (up to five) to what I call "recall the messages and remember it could send messages." But lately the time it takes to recall the messaging is longer and longer. A couple days ago it took me 27 hours. This time, its been 30. I read on another site about a guy who had this same message on this same phone and it had been 3 days and the problem had still not corrected itself. I want to know what is happening, why, and how to fix it. I called my carrier customer service and have been on the phone with them on and off for about a month about it. They have NO CLUE what it is.

Sep 10, 2014I've done just about everything I can think of... Soft reset, hard reset, deleted all but 21 pics, and only 11 apps left. No music, no videos, and yet i still get the message "storage almost full". Even after deleting a 395MB app, it still says Storage almost full. And to add insult to injury, after the last soft reset, when I access mail, it downloads all messages from the server, then shuts mail down. When I open it again, the same thing.Â

- My wife and I both have the iPhone 4S 16GB and we also have an IPod 2 32GB.
- My iPhone and our iPad both have the most recent iOS updates
- My wife and I share an iTunes account
- We have an iTunes Match subscription and are currently right around the 25,000 song limit. My iPhone and our iPad are the only devices with iTunes Match enabled thoughÂ

I recently managed to convince my wife to update to iOS 7 and have all the latest updates as well. It seems that ever since then we've been getting a "Storage almost full" message on all of our devices. Â
I restored both of our phones to factory recently so there's literally nothing on them except for a few pictures now and some apps. The iPad has nothing on it except for iCloud pictures and some music.Â
The Storage almost full message does go away if we restart the afflicted device.Â

Mar 23, 2012I store all my messages on memory card but yesterday suddenly the memory option switched back to phone.I couldn't see my memory card messages on pc suite as I couldn't switch back to memory card option.
I can see pictures and songs stored on memory card.Can even add new but the only problem is I can't swtich back to memory card as far as messages are concerned.
Whether I press yes or no in the option it only gives me the error saying ' Unable to move message storage'.
I don't mind losing messages, but I would like to store the ones from now on on memory card. And if you say it is corrupt, how many maximum number of messages can be stored on phone memory?

May 3, 2012I have a Nokia C3-01 touch and type phone that I dropped this morning and ever since then I keep getting the error message "message storage memory not ready" when i try and go to my text messages. I have removed the memory card and done a software, hardware reset and a full phone reset and still doing the same thing.I have also check to see if there is a software update which there isn't.I can still make and receive calls its just the messaging i cant do.

It was purchased SIM-free in June 2011 and has been running with an Orange UK SIM until 2 days ago when I switched it over to GiffGaff.
I wanted to try to preserve some text messages, but not sure if they are on the old SIM or in phone/SD memory.
I did have to perform a reset on swapping the SIM in order to re-authenticate the Motoblur account. If the messages are in the phone memory, will the reset actually over-write, or can they be retrieved with forensic software (I'm basically competent in use of forensic software).

Dec 1, 2014I just purchased the new iPhone 6 16GB.upgrade jump T-mobile not paid in full $700.Nevertheless, why do I keeping getting a message about storage full? And it says...Go to setting and manage storage with iCloud. I have deleted most of the app, photo, and just about everything else, and still keep getting this message. It's almost as if I will be paying additional 3.99-19.99 a month to manage the icloud for apps that I already had. Perhaps this is the gimmicks to order the 64GB iPhone 6. In fact, the 64GB is offered as an upgrade to new or additional line customers. Come On give us a break for the loyal customers Geezh!!
Plus can't even upgrade software update to iOS8.1.1 because there is not enough storage. What sense does that make to even upgrade to the new iPhone 6

May 13, 2015I've got Brand New SD card 64GB Strontium class 10 yesterday. I moved all my apps from old card to this. Everything worked fine until i copied music and Video files from PC and old card. It happens that everything copied but on phone it doesn't appear anywhere except Music and Videos which are in Others and also the pictures.
I can access music files and videos through Players and also from file manager but i'm not able to see Pictures in Windows Photos but i can in File manager.
My Others folder is like 18+ GB. How do i make my wallpaper and old photos appear on phone ? Why MS is Dumb on this matter?

Aug 21, 2010Ok, I'd like to get this right for once and for all. I'm challenging the Move message to Mass storage feature. These are the steps:
0) I have two message in my Inbox, Remove and replace the battery and switch on the device. After that I format E:Mass Storage and close File manager
1) In Messaging Options I select Settings and than Other and change the Memory in user to E:Mass Storage
2) I'm asked if I'd like to "copy all messages to the new message memory". I click on "Yes"
3) I'm asked if I'd like to "Save original messages" and I click "No" as I'd like to use the new stoage exclusively
After that the Inbox is empty.

I used the recovery tool to go to 1511 still same issue. I also got an "not enough storage" message although there is nothing installed on the phone.

I only have about 15 emails in my inbox and yet it is unable to check for new emails and it tells me synchronization failed. So I checked the phone memory and i only have 116.5 MB for installable applications and 18 GB for phone memory. i dont understand why i only have 116.5 Mb for my installable applications i only have about 60 applications and each is only a couply of KBs from the extras repo and from ovi and nothing from extras testing or devel. i have a couple of TV shows and movies. so what could be causing this and is there a way to exactly find out why i am low on memory and fix it. i am able to get email for my gmail account and aol account.

Lumia 1520 :: Every Photos In SD Card Recognized As Other In Storage Sense
Jan 14, 2015I have a problem with my boss' Lumia 1520. Would love to import photos to 1520 and since every photos are categorized in folders, I just copied all the folders to Pictures folder in SD Card.
What happens next is that these photos don't show up in Photos App. I checked the Storage Sense, it said that there is no photos (0KB), and the size of all the folders I have copied before are shown in Other Storage (~4GBs)
What I have tried:
- Format the SD Card using Storage Sense, then put the SD Card inside the phone and connect it to PC, then moved the photos to the phone using USB Connection. Failed.
- Put the SD Card into my Transcend Card Reader, move the photos into the SD Card then put it again into the phone. Failed.
- Renaming the folders in Files App in Lumia, then check the Photos App whether it has shown up in the album section. Failed.
- Renaming the folders in Windows 7, then check the Photos App whether it has shown up in the album section. Failed.
- Fully format the SD Card using Windows 7, and move the photos to the SD Card and put it again into the phone. In progress: formatting the SD Card.
Lumia 1320 :: Unable To Install More Apps As STORAGE Is Not Sufficient
Jan 19, 2014I purchased Nokia Lumia 1320 Two days back, it looks and work's very good. I happy the device is having good battery back-up comparing with Nokia Lumia 925.
But i can not able to install more apps on it. i Installed Sim city & Angry Birds GO games (Both are having around 1.5GB Size). .. after that it is started giving messages saying that to make some free space. even i am having a SD CARD of 16gb... But still it is saying the same thing.... like 925 device said.
