Lumia 950 :: Sim Card 2 Icon - Any Way To Hide It
Nov 30, 2015I got my Lumia 950 and it's a dual Sim... Where I live, we only use 1 Sim. Is there a way to not display the icon of the 2nd Sim? (on the top left of the screen)

HTC One M7 :: Any Way To Hide Power Saving Icon In Notification Bar?
Oct 6, 2013I just don't see the point of seeing that I am using power savings once it's already turned on. It's not like I am turning it on and off. Also the new 2 finger slide down is quick enough if I need more info.

Lumia 950 :: How To Hide The Navigation Bar On Phone
Dec 28, 2015The Lumia 950, as you know, does not have capacitive buttons for back, Windows, and search. As such, the navigation bar appears at the bottom of the phone. Sometimes it hides by itself, but I have not found a way, unlike the HTC One M8 for Windows, for you to hide the buttons at will. This is especially troublesome when text messaging and I think I press spacebar, when in reality I pressed the Windows key. Even more troublesome that the Messaging app is so unreliable that when I return to it the app crashes.

Nov 29, 2015With Win 10 on both desktops and mobile MS seems to really want to hog up valuable screen space with taskbars. While in photo mode the taskbar goes away to allow full screen use, given that phones will always be limited in screen space I wish MS would allow the taskbar to autohide at least as a choose able option. The actual useable screen space on my 950 is not much more than my old 920 because of the constant taskbar.

Oct 29, 2011I have tried everything to try and resolve my issues but have not been able to do so.
First, I accidently hid a picture by checking the 'hide' field. Now how do you get it back?! I've had a couple of my friends with the same phone try and figure it out and they havent been able to.Secondly, when I choose a picture to be my wallpaper, it shows in a zoomed in version of the top left corner of the picture. I do recall when I was choosing the picture to set as my wallpaper, that I zoomed in on it before setting it, but used the 'back' key to remove the zoom feature. It appeared ok on the screen but set the wallpaper as the zoomed in picture. Now it doesn't matter which picture I choose, I get on the top left side, zoomed in showing up on my wallpaper. - even though it appears normal before setting it.

Aug 6, 2011all of a sudden my icons lost color. not all of them, but most of them. when i tried to hide icons that i do not use, it would not hide them. and i cannot recharge my phone from the auto. i have tried other autos and different chargers, the electric charger works fine too.

Once it happened not five minutes into the trip, the other times were over an hour in. How to correct it?

Lumia Icon :: No Data On 3G
Oct 5, 2014New to the icon. Got it on Thursday. Promptly loaded 8.1 developer and ran all the updates. I'm not blown away, but it's nice, I'm not running back to my G2 yet. However I went up north yesterday and as soon as I lost 4g I lost all data. No MMS pics coming through and no weather, Internet.... Made crystal clear phone calls and texts went through, but no data. Played with the network settings but could never get it to go. Others with Verizon, at&t, and cellcom carriers had no issues. HTC, iPhones, motos, none had issues.
So is there an issue with 8.1 developer? Bad phone? Recommended settings for data all the time? I have data roaming options set to roam. Tried GSM and the CDMA settings under the sim card and no changes. Tried rebooting the phone between changes and no luck.

Jul 29, 2014Just took the leap from IPhone to the Nokia Lumia Icon despite all the criticism from friends and family who are avid IPhone users. I was a little unsure at first and nervous but when I opened that thing up it was amazing. So about two hours into playing with it I wanted to try my hand at putting music on it. So I plugged it into my computer, nothing, I read everything online about how to do it, and so I kept trying the computer and still nothing. Ehhh I'll figure it out later. I go to charge it at night, nothing. So to make a longer story a little shorter, I took it back to Verizon to get a new one not even 24 hours after I got it. Now I'm super nervous about having an Icon, but so far this is day 3 and I'm loving it. I have all my music on it but I wanted to know if there was anyway to back up the music I have to my computer or is that just something I need to use SkyDrive for?

Jul 14, 2015Over the past couple of days I have had a progressively worsening problem where my screen acts as though it is being touched, but is not. It has become essentially unusable at this point though. I have tried restarting the phone multiple times, I have cleaned the screen. I looked for a recalibration of the touch screen, but that did not seem to exist. I'm worried that this is a sign that the phone is broken, despite the fact that it has been babied and has no signs of wear. This will be the 2nd Icon I have had break on me since release and I have NEVER had a phone die on me before. I'm annoyed to say the least..
