I noticed that when you try to Zoom in 4K video you only have a very small amount of zoom available.If you change to 4K 24 fps instead of the default 30 or 25 fps then you suddenly get the full zoom available.
View 2 RepliesIt seems to have occurred recently and am wondering if it is related to the recent Nokia camera/beta camera updates. I'm running 8.1 DP but I don't believe I was having this issue before and I don't believe I have had any recent big falls or jolts to the phone that might cause mechanical problems and I believe the zoom works fine in still pictures.

So I'm running Camera Zoom FX on a stock, debloated, rooted rom. It takes pics fine. However when I try to switch to video mode, it says "video switch not supported on this device"
Is there a fix for this? If not, whats another good camera app tha does actually support video.
Right after taking a picture (sometimes, but not all of the time) I can see the picture but cannot pinch zoom it. This drives me nuts! Especially if I need to snap a quick picture of something like a nameplate on a device and then zoom to read the info.

Digital zoom is so stupid - I can duplicate the effect of digital zoom by cropping the photo with photoshop afterward. Not only is digital zoom in effect the same a cropping a photo, but because the photo was cropped from the get-go, you have LOST information that you might have wanted. What if you "zoomed in" and took the picture, but mistakenly chopped off the top of your subject's head? That portion of the head was actually being perceived by the camera's sensor, so you could have had a complete photo, but it is now lost forever thanks to digital zoom.

The history shows, but when you long press on one it just pops up "details." There is no way to delete the history. If you go into phone settings and under privacy turn off access to call history for Messaging+Skype, then app will no longer load/work.
