so if I have the 1520 plugged into my PC via USB and try to say, attach a bunch of files at one time to something (facebook, ebay for example) i get that error saying 'can't select multiple files from this location'
why is that? my old phones didn't have this issue (android) and I've never had any other device do this.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI was having some issues with my SD CARD (it had to be scanned for errors constantly) so I eventually took it out. About the same time the Phone started to randomly reboot itself over and over until I plugged it in. To be more clear it got stuck in a reboot cycle where it would start to boot and then shut off and then start to boot and then shut off. The only thing I could do to stop it would be to plug it in.
Steps taken:
Took out SD Card
Factory reset
Carrier: AT&T
Windows Phone 8.1 update
When the battery is full or plugged in I can't reproduce the issue, but when it's lower then 60% or so, I can repro the issue by changing between apps or selecting airplane mode and then switching the wifi on. Basic multitasking appears to set it off.
How can I select and send messages to multiple people from my contact list. That is to say how to select multiple recipients. I have to select one by one which is quite tedious.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWP8 appears to completely lack the most basic Audiobook functioanlity. No seek/skip in audio or video? No bookmarking or remembering location in files?! I mean... I would like to see more advanced functionality specific to Audiobooks but these types of features are very useful for all sorts of media. The Nokia app doesn't even FFW or rewind through audio/video!
The Audible app is pretty great but I can't seem to figure out a way to use it to play any of the hundreds of older audiobooks I've created myself from my personal auiobook CD/Casette collection. I can't imagine what I'd do if I still needed to go through recorded lectures.
I transferred 10 pdf files via bluetooth to my lumia 1520. when the last one finished transferring, i opened it via the ntifications menu.
The problem i am facing is that , i am only seeing the last opened file in the files menu in adobe reader.

How do i view other PDF files in the phone?
I also downloaded Microsofts's PDF reader, but even this app is not able to show the existing files in the phone.How do i see the files present in the phone on connecting to the computer via USB cable, because all i can see is the picture, music and video files .

View 6 Replies View RelatedAll my various folders from my tablet's OneDrive were transferred automatically to my Nokia Lumia's OneDrive. However, all the files in my "Favourites" folder show as only 1kb each and have the words "Just me" under each entry. None of them will open. When I try to open one, a warning comes up stating:" We couldn't open the file. Make sure you're connected to a Wi-Fi network" (Which of course I am). Maybe I need an app to open these "Favourite" websites. But which one?

To achieve this I guess I need to select the filters Friends & Colleagues and leave the Family filter unchecked. But the problem is, if a filter is selected and I try to select a second filter, the previously selected filter gets un-selected. View 5 Replies View RelatedI have over 150 photos in the Pictures Folder on my Blackberry Torch 9800 and after importing them to my PC, I want to delete them from my BB to regain space and memory.. I can delete these photos one by one following directions in the Guide but it does not make sense to repeat this step 150 times and there must be a quicker way to go about it.
What I want to do is to delete the entire contents of that Pictures Folder in one step. I have looked into the BB Torch User Guide Ver 6.0 and in Help for the BB Desktop Software and have not found any directions on deleting entire folders or multiple files in a folder in one step.
