As soon as I play a game, no matter how much battery life I have, the phone overheats and then says battery low and shuts down immediately. As soon as I turn in back on afterwards, battery life is still fine but doesn't change though I use the phone till phone cools down. It suddenly started to happen, I didn't update or did anything suspicious.

I had gotten a lot of games through Nokias promotion, Civ, MC4 etc. Is there any way to get them back, or would I have to pay for all of them?
This problem has been occurring since I have used the 1520. Never did I experienced this with my 920 before.
Anyways, music randomly stops playing and I can't seem to get it back to playing if I don't restart THE WHOLE PHONE. It's very annoying and no this is not an Xbox Music issue since I've tried MixRadio, the Hub Tile and other third party players and this is still happening. Whatever skipping of songs I do it still won't play. Songs are switching but it's stuck on the 'pause' button but it's not playing.. No sounds, time is not running. REALLY annoying.
I was playing a game with my phone and while I was playing it shut off without showing the goodbye logo I plug it in the charger so it vibrates and the start button was blinking nothing on the screen so I waited 3 hours and it still shut off so I pressed the volume down and power button together it vibrated and nothing happened just vibrate and the start button still blinking ....

View 3 Replies View RelatedGot my Cyan 920 on Friday. Immediately had overheating issue while syncing email during first setup. Got super hot at the top,battery drained very quickly. I had turned on Nokia Drive Beta + for just a minute to check it out then didn't use it again. No more heat or battery issues until tonight when I plugged it into my computer to move some video files onto my computer through the file explorer. Phone got very hot at the top and actually started losing battery life even though it showed to be charging (plugged into my laptop). I did not have any apps running intensive processes or syncing/uploading going. I turned off background services for Nokia Drive Beta + (though I hadn't opened it since that initial opening to check it out) then I turned it off and back on and it stopped the overheating and it began to cool. But then I couldn't connect to phone or internet services even though it showed 4 bars of LTE. Turned it off and on again and everything seemed to be working fine, then it began heating up again. Just removed it from my laptop and it is now plugged into the wall charger that came in the phone box (USB). This is unacceptable for a new phone. I had been using a Black Nokia Lumia 900 for several months before upgrading and using Nokia Drive frequently.

I try not to run too many apps at the same time. It was repaired only a few weeks ago but it still gets very hot. Especially when using the camera, playing games or just being on facebook. My partner has the same phone and it never gets hot. Is this normal? Or does my phone need repair yet again?

I have noticed that while I am playing that the screen will just freeze for about 3-5 seconds. There is no specific time when this happens, but it does happenevery 1-5 minutes. When the screen freezes the sound continues. This happens multiple times during game play.
I find this rather strange and would like to know if anyone else has noticed this. When I first noticed it in Hungry Shark, I thought maybe it was a problem with the game, but then I started playing Angry Birds and I was seeing the same behavior. I have to believe that this is a hardware or OS conflict since it is happening in multiple apps. I don't remember seeing any notifications or phone calls when this happens.

3. is there any app available through which i can easily switch between gprs/edge and wlan. i try to use wlan but nokia browser and opera mini starts using gprs/edge.
4. battery drains quickly. i dont use any app running behind.i close all apps using "long press menu button and kill the apps" method. still battery lasts for only 3 hours of internet and 1 hour gaming and 5 hours of stand by with everything closed.
Is this how it is meant to be for the X10 mini pro? And is there a solution to this as i do spend a lot of time in the Android Market and playing games.

I have to manually mute it each time i pop on to play and remember to turn it back up again after.
