it's a fido branded phone, I have a fido SIM... it worked fine for 2 days, then today my phone died at school, I got home about 6 hours later plugged it in, and get this message.I've taken the battery and SIM out numerous times, still same thing.
For some reason, my phone will shut itself off without me touching the power button. It doesn't even do the power down thing, it just turns off abruptly, as if the battery was taken out, (even though it wasn't), even with a fully charged battery.it's getting annoying... it does this 3-4 times a day
I picked up an LG Neon from a friend a ways back, and after using it for a couple days, I got sick of not being able to hear the other person so I went back to my old phone. However, I'm a modder by nature, so I started looking at what I could do with this thing. Here's what I was thinking, please tell me what you think.
I want to remove the circuit board so that I could put my own custom curcuit board in it. I thought if I can pull the battery pack (or even keep it... idk) and remove the circuitry, I could then load up an MP3 player in it, and put in a normal headphone jack. I've already removed the built-in speaker, but I want to keep it so that it looks like a phone. Or would I be better served to just grab a spare SD card and load all my music on that? I don't need it to be able to make calls (not even emergency, I have a normal phone for that) which is why I was thinking of pulling out the circuit board. What do you guys think? Is this a doable project, or am I just wasting my time?
A "master clear" was suggested as a soltuion to LG Neon problem with delayed calling (I can't hear ringing or the other voice for first 20 or 30 seconds on my outgoing call). How do you do a "master clear "?
Tonight Im getting an LG Neon (TE365 i believe) from Rogers, and Im wondering if anyone knows any tricks or anything interesting I could do with the phone. Anyone?
MY lg neon doesnt read 8 gb sd cards and i dont have any others so i was wondering...does anyone know if there is a way to 'trick' the card to act as a 4gb ?
my friend gave me his old lg neon gt365, and he doesn't know the password anymore, i was wondering if there was anyway to reset it so that i can use it.
I've been having problems with the camera on my tour. When I go to take a picture, it takes the picture normally, but when it saves it, the picture has neon lines all over it. It snaps the picture fine, but once it says "saving" at the bottom of the screen, I get these crazy neon colors and lines all over it.
I have ATT version of the NEON and I would like it to automatically lock and thus require a security code to dial out or look at my text messages, etc. etc.So for example I would like for it to require a security code everytime I unlock the automatic key lock. (the key lock doesn't require a code just have to open it or hit the yes button). You can set the phone to require the security code (default is 0000) when you power up the phone, or when a new Sim Card is put in or immediately.
Immediately would be ok if it stayed on but the immediately option only works once.So short of going through the menus and setting it immediately each time or powering the phone off and then back on Does anyone know a way to do a lock on the Neon? Don't most phones have a lock feature?
I read on Skype's website that Tegra 2 devices such as the Atrix can't do video calling because the chipset doesn't have NEON technology support. Is this something that can be changed with a software update, or is this something that Tegra 2 devices will never be able to have?
I have a samsung galaxy s2 with android 4.0.4 and recently I started getting the message (sim card full) but I have no contacts nor messages stored in the sim card.I went to vodafone (Portugal) and they gave me a new 4G sim card as they are replacing all 3G cards.
I bought a 16gb MicroSD card for my 5230 Nuron. How do I transfer everything from the original 4gb card to the new card? I've downloaded some apps and themes and I want to make sure they get transferred to the new card. I tried doing a full backup and restore using Ovi Suite and some of the downloaded apps made it and some didn't. I tried to re-download some of them from Ovi Store but Ovi Store seemed to think they were still there and wouldn't let me download them again. Is it as simple as copying the contents of the old card to the new card?
I have broken my e71 phone and want to retrieve the contacts (phone numbers / names) that were saved on the micro sd card. I have a PC usb card reader and can see the microsd directory structure, however I do not know where the contacts are stored. Does anyone know how I can retrieve the numbers from the microsd card?

I recently lost my SD card to my blackberry 9810 and am attempting to restore the files onto a new SD card to a computer. I had automatic backups set up from the Blackberry desktop manager and Blackberry protect. I was under the assumption that these backups also backed up information on the SD card. Unfortunatley, when I tried to restore my phone using a blackberry desktop no old files where restored to my new SD card.I have read an old post that says the automatic backups do not backup SD card documents but am unsure if that is still true.Is there anyway I could restore the files using the backups?
Have just bought a new E72.A 4 GB memory card is already inserted by Nokia and it has a lot on it - maps etc I guess.I am getting a 32gb card for additional stuff. How can I easily get the stuff from the original card onto the new card - can I just transfer it via a PC??
i have had my sony ericsson xperia 10 mini pro for nearly 2 months now, recently though i cannot play any music or use the camera because it keeps saying please insert memory card even though there is a memory card in,which has been working fine up until now. I have tried everything but with no joy.
i have a xperia x8. i have 2 gb memory card,ok.hen i download apps, they're going to the phone card and it size very small. i want to move these apps from phone card to memory card.
I have a one month old LG G4 that has been working perfectly.
I added a 128Gb class 10 PNY SD card and it mounted perfectly, copied over about 40Gb of data and all was well.
A while later a message popped up on the screen "SD card removed unexpectedly. It can be damaged. Always unmount SD card before removing it."
I am unable to access the SD card via the phone in any manner, if I remove the card and put it in a USB micro-SD adapter and plug it into my laptop it mounts just fine and I can access all of the data. I have run Windows check disk against the SD card an no issues were found. The phone is still unable to mount/read the card.
I went as far as to remove the partition from the SD card and reinstalled it back in the phone, it was then detected and the phone auto-formatted it, and then I was able to copy my data back onto the device... and about 10 minutes later the same error popped up "SD card unexpectedly..."
I have a second identical SD card, I tried using it and the same exact problem happened.

What memory card I should insert in my nokia 5230 for best performance? Does it has some technical specifications which I should take into account while buying a new one? will my phone run better with an 8GB card as compared to that with 16GB?
I would like to do a factory reset on my Galaxy s5. While attempting to back-up files on my SD card I realized...I don't have an SD card. The problem with this is that my device shows many apps installed on the SD card (Settings->Device->Applications->Application manager shows apps on SD card).
There is nothing in the microSD card slot above the SIM card slot on the back of my phone. Is there another location for an SD card that I am not aware of and not seeing? If not, how is my phone reading that there are apps stored on the SD card when there is no SD card?
