I dunno if it's just me but when I have my polarized sunglasses on and I use my device in the landscape view, I can't see the screen at all. It's like a privacy screen kinda thing when you look at it from the side.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to keep the display in landscape view when you slide the keynboard open? I have a car cradle that I used with my 9700. I now use the cradle with my Torch. The Torch is thicker than the 9700, so I have to slide the Torch open and slide just the keybord section in it fits nice aNd tight. I want to be able to swivel the cradle to allopw landscape view, but since the keyboard is open the screen won't change from portraight to landscape view.

Software is up to date, this just came on randomly in the last week. Normally you can 'shake' the phone and the view angle changes. Won't work for texting, works for emails.....

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry 9800 Torch will no longer switch from portrait to landscape view in any application when I turn the unit on its side. It is stuck in portrait view. Very frustrating! This happened once before but corrected itself. Is there a setting that can changed? My carrier, Bell Mobility, was of no assistance. Just told me to return the unit for repair which would take 6 - 8 weeks.

Whenever I open these apps I always firstly just switch them to landscape before doing anything....so if it happened automatically it would be much more convenient.

Ever since playing with the iPad, I've always felt restricted with the iPhone only displaying the home screen in portrait mode. I know it is more suitable for that size display, but I think it would be cool when using it as a media device.Does anyone think it will ever become available in the future on the iPhone? Alarm notification is not rotating to landscape when phone is on charging dock.
After updating to ios4 it seems if you don't take pictures in landscape mode (holding camera horizontal instead of vertical) then when you view them on the computer they are sideways. They look fine on the IPhone when taken the old way. It's only when viewing on computer.
