HTC One M7 :: Phone Not Playing Any Sound From Movies
Dec 16, 2013I just got my new HTC one and copied few films from my PC to check out quality. Quality is great but no sound coming out sound is definitely working because i can play music files and demo movie files.
Its not playing .mkv files it seems... no problem with mp4's. I guess they need to be converted thats all...or maybe theres a player that will play mkv files ?

May 30, 2012My 4s has all of a sudden stopped playing sound. I have a ringtone but no sound for music/movies etc. Tried turning on and of and letting bat go flat then recharging. Sound came back for a while then went again. I noticed this started soon after I upgraded to 5.1.1 . Ive also looked at the error reports the phone generates for apple and there are a few memory low notes.

Jun 3, 2014I have an iPhone 4, and it is probably 3-4 years old, and has no obvious extrernal problems except that the lock screen button doesn't work. That stopped working about 3 months ago, and i went to the apple store and they said there was nothing to do about it. They also looked at the iPhone and said that there were no problems with the battery life or anything (it was a dot in the greenest section on the picture for battery life). but, since then my iPhone had been randomly turning off. At the beginning, since my lock button was broken i would just plug it in, and it would turn on about 2 mins later saying very low battery, but it would go straight back to whatever charge it was before in a couple of minutes (usually about 50%). Â
But today, it randomly turned off while i was using the calculator. I tried pressing the home button, but nothing happened. I plugged it in, it made the 'plm' sound it does when it charges, but the screen turned black. Â
I think it was maybe a problem with the display. Because i have the apple headphones, and i used them to make the music play, and it did, i just couldnt see the screen. About 3 hours after it turned off (no screen on, but still music and sound), it turned back on again fully (with the screen). I have already been to the apple store about this matter, and they said they essentially have no idea why its happening. Usually it turns back on when it plugs in, but today it didnt.Â

Jun 18, 2012My Iphone (white) turns on then off then on then off then on then off! Finaly when I eventually get to the lock screen it says: conect to power but I charged it last night and the percent bar (top right) says 100% . Now it says to charge with itunes? What am I supposed to do!

Sep 28, 2015I'm running stock 5.1.1, and even though my auto brightness is off my phone occasionally dims my display when it's on full brightness. It's not running particularly hot (37 degrees C according to my battery widget) so I don't know what's causing it to dim.

Jul 3, 2010With my old Xperia Z1c, when adaptive brightness is on and the environment light is darkest, the screen brightness may be adjusted to, let's say, 0. Even you drag the brightness control bar to leftmost, the dimmest brightness you can get is still 0. But in Xperia Z5, you can go dimmer than that with the control bar, and this dim cannot be achieved using the same control bar if you disable the adaptive brightness. If one component cannot do something in manual mode, should not be able to do that thing in automatic mode either. So I believe that this is a bug.

Is there any way to fix this problem i've restored my phone fresh twice, no icloud no backup nothing installed, I also have 8.9 GB available.

May 6, 2010I have a JB iPhone 3G 3.1.2 OS. Everything has been fine until now. I had SBRotator on and all of a sudden it started to go really slow and in the end not respond. So i turned my iphone off by holding the power and home buttons and now whenever I turn it on it stays on the apple logo screen for about 10 seconds and then switches itself off. I've never had a problem with SBRotator before. What can I do to get it working again?

Jun 1, 2012I am connected to my iTunes and everything is syncing fine except I want to sync a couple of movies from my library but I get the "The iPhone XX is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library?" error. Why am I getting this error only for trying to sync movies but everything else is syncing?
