IPhone :: Won't Vibrate Even When Turned On Both Buttons
Jul 3, 2012
I received my iPhone a while back and it will not vibrate when turned on for silent and the other. It will not vibrate do you think it is still covered to where I could take it into the apple genius bar I received the iPhone on January 15,2012
I noticed during a meeting today that my phone vibrated when receiving a text, despite the Vibrate toggle for SBS being turned off. Does the Vibrate toggle only apply to the vibrate function when receiving a call, and not when receiving texts?
My iPhone 6 just went funny. It will not show the batter percentage anymore and the alerts are coming through vibrating even when I have switched them off.Â
Is there any way to turn this feature off?? This is getting very frustring to have it vibrate and it's not even discreet (it sounds like a loud buzzing noise on the other end). The person on the other line keeps asking what's that buzzing sound? This ISN'T a feature, in fact it's annoying to people I talk to on the phone and frustrating that I have to tell the other person everytime it's the phone vibrating. It does not make any difference in my life if it vibrates when I press the home, menu, return or search buttons.
I have even checked my phone to my wife's S6 and as far as I can see, our settings are the same yet her phone doesn't vibrate when she gets a notification.
WhataApp: Vibrate is turned off in the app for group messages and only turned on for private messages, but the phone vibrates for all messages when the phone is on vibrate. Before, in vibrate mode, the phone only would vibrate for private messages.
Text message: Use to vibrate twice to differentiate text from other notifications, but now only vibrates once like all other notifications.
I have been playing with this phone for a week or so and there are a couple of things that bug me. First of all is the annoying vibration every time you touch the screen or any side buttons. Can the vibration be disabled? Secondly, I hate the default touch screen functions like music, video and pictures. I use none of these.I want to have a button that shows the recent call list from the outer screen.I can do this when I have missed a call, but how can I change or add this function to the outer screen so I can see my missed calls whenever I want not just when I have a recent missed call.I use the phone with a headset most of the time which is why I would like to do this without opening the flip.
I've had this problem for a while and now I'm getting work I don't want to miss my phone because I've put it on dead mode. Before I factory reset my phone, I was able to change my volume using the side buttons to go from different levels of sound, then vibrate only, then dead mode (complete silent and no vibrations). Now I only have different levels of sound and dead mode. I read about changing an option in sounds to vibrate only in silent mode, which will fix this but I can't find that either (my suspicians are that this option was taken out in ICS or moved to a secret location to foil my plans).
My IPhone 5 suddenly turned off and can not be turned on.
It prompts me to use connect to iTunes . I have done all iTunes updates but it says it cannot be restored due to error 14.
It restored correctly once this weekend and functioned for all of an hour before it died.
I'm afraid I'm within days of the one year warranty. Because I live in a rural area I can't get to a Rogers or IApple store I cannot conveniently take it in for replacement or repair. Â
I've had nothing but problems since I updated to the os7.
The capacitive buttons are garbage in my opinion and I constantly accidentally hit them. Not to mention they are backwards. I would like to disable them completely and enable the soft buttons like on the Nexus 5. Is this possible?
I sometimes experience heavy echo.Often, it's when I call my mom's verizon land-line; her cordless phone is connected to a medical alert "fallen-can't-get-up" device so I kind assumed it was related to that.Recently, however, I've had sporadic echo talking to other users.
Just now I turned off noise suppression and turned on call clarity enhancement. However, it occurs to me that since I have another LG G4 on my account and also a samsung, I should do some comparisons between the phones to make sure it's not my phone.
I only received my iPhone two days ago and the vibration has not worked since getting it. Thought maybe I'd not got the settings right but checked and vibrate is on both for silent and general. Tried downloading the iBrate app and it has began to make a slight vibration but no where near what it is supposed to do. If anyone has any other solutions, preferably not about disembling the phone
My iPhone vibration works very loud! When I shake my phone I ear like a little component doing noise inside the phone.. This iPhone is a sostitutive phone.
