Apr 29, 2012I only received my iPhone two days ago and the vibration has not worked since getting it. Thought maybe I'd not got the settings right but checked and vibrate is on both for silent and general. Tried downloading the iBrate app and it has began to make a slight vibration but no where near what it is supposed to do. If anyone has any other solutions, preferably not about disembling the phone

Jul 24, 2011I just recently got a new blackberry bold phone. When I go up in the left hand corner and put it on Vibrate, it vibrates my phone but my emails, text messages and other alerts still ring. With my old one I could put it on vibrate and it would vibrate them all. Is their a way to fix this so that when I put it on vibrate it vibrates everything.

Mar 19, 2010Since upgrading the phone to V21.0.045 I've had intermittent problems with the touch screen vibrate stopping working, which has fixed itself after a reboot. Also the unreliable slide lock problem has returned with this update. Now, as of this evening vibrate and even the small kick given when you switch on has stopped working. Not fixable by a reboot or taking the battery out.
I'm wondering if this is a hardware issue, simply worn out after 7 months or to do with V21? Can't reinstall V21, the new version of updater won't let me do it.

If I check the ringtone by selecting a different tone, it plays Ok. Volume is fine also, set for independent control for incoming volume and phone ring. Jul 30, 2012having an issue where notification sounds stop working after my photon has been on for 12 to 18 hours. The phone will still vibrate and function fine except for ringing or letting me know about alert/alarms. I am on the latest firmware 45.4.13 but this issue has been ongoing for the past 3 firmware upgrades I have done. I have done factore resets multiple times and ran nothing but stock apps for a full month but it contnues to happen. Honestly it does not bother me to remember to reboot by phone each night but i have missed two VERY important calls because I was in another room and did not hear it ring.
