I recently upgraded to the Torch 9800. Of course, I also had to upgrade from DM5 to DM6. After syncing with Outlook, I now have duplicate calendar entries on my BB, but not in Outlook. I have checked the Default Settings and I only have 1 email address and calendar listed (CICAL and CMIME). However, when I go into Calendar Options, it lists my Outlook address and a "Default" calendar. How do I remove the Default calendar?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI store my contact mobile phone #s in international format (ie +61 4xx xxxxxx) so they are accessable from overseas when I travel without having to edit. Outlook 2003 seems to put a space character by default after the country code, so these appear as +61 4xxxxxxxx in Outlook. When I sync my Nokia 6120 to Outlook this space then gets transferred across to the phone as the # for the contact. When I receive anything from the contact (phone call, SMS etc), the number I have saved for them does not exactly match the number that comes through (either because of the extra space, or because it will come through in Australian format ie 04xx xxxxxx) and the contact does not get recognised by the phone, and simply appears as the #, not the contact name.If I send an SMS first & this is replied to, it comes back correctly identified, but new messages etc from contacts are not identified.
Is there any way to remove the space that Outlook seems to put after the country code by default? And is there any way for the phone to recognise +61 4xxxxxxxx and +614xxxxxxxx and 04xxxxxxxx all as the same number for the same contact?

View 1 Replies View Relatedso every few days, my iphone's inbox will do this thing where it loads all emails "zoomed out" by default. In other words, the text appears super small on one side of the screen, and i have to double tap to zoom in in order to read anything. Sometimes, it won't even let me zoom in, which is even more frustrating. Restarting the phone usually fixes it, but I was wondering if anyone here knew why this was happening, or any other ways to fix it?
I'm syncing my inbox w/ gmail as exchange, if that helps.
I'm not sure how to describe this annoyance, but hopefully someone knows how to resolve the issue.About a month ago I received a spam Email (AOL) which I have linked to the default Email client.I deleted the Email without opening the Email but ever since the header appears everytime I receive a new Email notification in the systray.Fortunately it wasn't anything of a comprmising nature just a sales pitch for the "Original Orgreenic Pan".I've tried removing the account as well as deleting the email cache to no avail.

I have two different e-mail accounts set up on my iphone. I want to be able to use the e-mail view that includes messages from all accounts/inboxes. When I am in that view and create a new message, my iphone will automatically select one of my accounts. It is unfortunately not the one I most often want to use. I don't find a way to change that setting - but I am sure it is possible! How do I do it...

My iPhone 4S shows no interest in using my alias email address as the default choice for sending and receiving email, even though I've changed the settings in iCloud. Mail persists in using my Apple ID as the default sending email address. It's a minor nuisance as my name shows up either way, but I'd like the correct email address to show.

I have been trying for months to sync my iPhone mail, contacts and calendars with Microsoft Outlook (Office Standard 2007). Now I find a new "Outlook" account in my iPhone email. I need to remove that Outlook (a new Microsoft email program?) and start over. As long as that new Outlook account is on the phone, my iPhone icon is useless.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 4S, and just bought a new Android phone.A fair chunk of my family uses iPhones, iPads, and iPods, so I was planning on keeping the iPhone for iMessage and Facetime. However, my texts from said family (at least the ones using iPhones) are being sent as iMessages to the iPhone, instead of my new phone.I'm wondering if there is a way to disable iMessage/FaceTime on my iPhone for the phone number, but leave it active for the email addresses. or any other ways to achieve what I'm trying to do.?
