if my iphone is near the computer that i use to sync it, i do not have to use a cable, it appears to wifi sync ??This, however does not seem to be true of an ipad near that computer. Does that ring true?

Now adter syncing in iTunes I seem to have lost all my iPad made notes on my iPhone. I still have both sets of Notes on my iPad.Also I added my MobileMe email address to the list of my email addresses I have in Mail on my iMac. My MobileMe emails were then sent to my iMac including all my notes backup both from my iPad and iPhone.So my Notes are not deleted or lost, just none of my iPad notes are now on my iPhone.Read the support BB's are now VERY confused what to do to restore my iPad Notes on my iPhone.On iPhone, I only seem to have: All Notes / On My iPhone / my MobileMe email address While on my iPad, I have: All Notes / From my Mac / my MobileMe email address My iPhone is 3GS. View 4 Replies View RelatedThis weekend I updated my iPhone 4 (AT&T) and iPad 2 (Verizon 3G, wifi) to 5.1. Since the update (went flawlessly), I have been unable to connect to wifi networks anywhere. All that I get is the continuously running circle that shows it is trying to connect (but never actually does). I have RESET all Network connections numerous times, did the 'Forget this' connection on everything, etc. They will no longer connect to places that I have always connected to (Home network, CLE Airport, Hilton, Work, etc...). I can connect to all networks fine with my laptop and blackberry, but I just get the constant connection circle with my iPhone and iPad 2. I have tried:
1. Reboot (Soft)
2. Reboot (Hard (Home and Power button)
3. Forget WiFi connection
4. Reset Network Connections
5. Tried 6 different Wireless (wifi) networks that I have always been able to connect to with no luck.
6. Airplane Mode with wifi on...
7. Turned 3G off...

I never had the issue with the 2G/3G/3GS, but once I got an iPhone 4 at launch and then the 4S, the issue has always been the same. It doesn't matter which network I connect to. Websites load incredibly slowly, apps download slowly, and it's impossible to stream anything or install an iOS update via wi-fi.
I connect to the same networks on my iPad 2 (as well as multiple laptops, both PCs and Macs) and it's always very, very fast.
The funny part to me is that the router is an AirPort Extreme, though I have the same issues with both Cisco and Netgear routers (haven't had any others to try).
My Ipad and mac laptop can connect to my wi-fi router, but my iphone won't. I've reset network settings, but this didn't resolve the problem.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with my HTC One M8 and Google Play Music. I subscribe to their service and have always downloaded music for offline listening via the Google Play Music app (via WiFi only).
My phone is about a month and a half old, and everything worked fine for the first couple of weeks. Then syncing problems came. This actually included gmail, calendar, facebook, etc. I wound up doing a full factory reset, and most of the other services are working fine now.
However, Google Play Music doesn't seem to know that I'm connected to WiFi, even though I am and all other apps/internet are working. Because of this, it will not sync or even stream music (as i've selected WiFi only).
In an effort to save my battery I thought if I enabled the ability for social apps to only sync over wifi it would be a good thing. Well it does not seem this works as advertised. I have gone into Settings/Battery & Data Manager/Data Delivery/Social Apps and enabled Sync over Wifi Only. With this enabled I should not be able to sync social apps when connected to the 3g network correct? It seems the sync still happens on the 3g network with this enabled. Is there another way to get this to work?
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy phone connects to my home wifi network, but then when I go to open and use any app internet related, it doesn't work and says to check my connection. The sync icon in the top screen is constantly going, so I thought maybe it would have something to do with that (I am really not good with anything technology related so I don't know). I did a hard reset and nothing changed. Also, I am able to connect wirelessly on my laptop and other devices. It was honestly working one minute, not working the next. I didn't download or make any changes to anything on my phone.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAndroid hasn't been syncing saved network info for me since I was on my Note 2 6 months ago. So now I have all my saved Wi-Fi info on the N7 (which never leaves home), and it never synced to my N6 or G3 before that.
Any ways to troubleshoot this?? I do have app data checked to sync on both the gmail accounts on my Nexus 6.
