IPhone 4 :: Cannot Be Restored - Error 2008 When Connected To ITunes
Jul 2, 2014I have a black screen on my iPhone 4 saying iTunes with the usb picture underneath. Have connected it to macbook and opened iTunes.  It recommends I restore and update which I have tried. I then get a message saying it cannot be restored. error 2008. Followed all the troubleshooting guide on apple website - latest update for iTunes, turning computer off, no other devices connected etc and have searched the web to find out what this error is but cannot find anything about error 2008.

Mar 5, 2010I was wondering if anyone else experiences this problem/has a solution? My BB Storm2 will sync via Bluetooth with my 2010 Audi Q5, but it has 3 problems:
1. The Contact's Name, City, State, Zip transfer, but not the address line. Makes navigation to a contact not possible.
2. No categories come across - the Audi only shows "Personal" and "Business"
3. Company names do not show up in the directory list - all contacts labeled as companies are blank lines in the Audi and the precede people names, so I have several screens of just a phone icon before I get a person's name.
Granted, I have 17 categories, 558 contacts. I sync with a Mac (OS X 10.6.2), but don't understand how/if that should make any kind of difference.

Nov 9, 2012I've recently acquired a Lumina 920 with Windows Phone 8. I can pair the phone with the car (or car with phone) just fine. I can also make and receive calls, but the phonebook will not sync with the car. This is a deal breaker for me, as I've had multiple IPhone/Android phones that handle this seemingly common operation without any trouble at all.As an experiment, I paired this phone with another car, and the phone book DOES sync. What I get is a message appears on the phone asking for permission to share contacts This does not happen with my car, however.

Apr 24, 2011I've only had my phone a few days and I'm trying to get everything formatted but I cannot seem to get pictures on all my contacts.In timescape and my phonebook there are only half a dozen pictures (facebook profile pictures) to my entries and plenty of people in my phonebook who have FB accounts. I've even been through and used their full names to try and help connecting the two.I don't want to add all my friends from FB to my phonebook, just include the pictures of the ones already there. There doesn't seem to be a pattern of the ones that are showing and all the others that aren't.

May 8, 2012I have a bold 9700, software version=6.0 Bundle 2921.I recently downloaded the latest OS update (6 I'm assuming) the day it was released. I went to add a new contact to my phone book yesterday for the first time after I downloaded the update and it does nothing when I click it. I've tried right clicking and adding a new contact, just clicking on the new contact in the phone book. And nothing, if I click it enough it freezes my phone, and when I restart it throws me an exception about the phone book.I've taken out my battery/sim card and still doesn't work. Has to be a bug in the code since its throwing an exception.

But ever-since I delayed my payment on my postpaid plan and my outgoing calls/sms got blocked by my provider my phone number wouldn't show up anymore. Oct 16, 2011my x3 - 02 phone that keeps on restarting is that I am also having a problem with this phone wherein I cant use the phone memory in my contacts.
This is the problem, I am using the phone memory for my phone and when it is set to that It will automatically switch over to SIM memory and if you will switch it back to phone memory it will show "operation failed" in the menu " name" and my favorite contact will not work either. the names in my contact will not appear. After that, I have tried to reset the phone and it will work in few hours but will have the same problem again and of course i will reset it again and will set the phone again to my preferred settings. I have tried to update the firmware and still doing the same thing.
