Jun 22, 2011want to make sure my employer hasn't installed any spyware software on my device. From my reading, you can look for signs such as spikes in data transfers when you're not using the phone, that sorta thing. I'd like to be absolutely positive there is no spyware installed, and so what I'm thinking is that in a week or two, I'd like to do a re-installation of the blackberry OS system software. I'm on a mac, and my understanding is that I can take the phone in to an AT&T store and they could do the reinstallation for me. If I were to do that, would I also have to reinstall all of the apps I've downloaded? And short of this method, is there any proven spyware detection software I could use to avoid having to take these steps?

To me, yes, obviously, because this means the App Store can be in more hands, and my apps can have a MUCH larger audience. Yes I know there is a lot of market share already, but look at VZW, T-Mob etc and if we got their eyes on our apps. you should be able to fill in the rest. What do you think from a developer point of view?

Apr 7, 2012I have Windows 7 installed and have seriously tried everything to fix this, deleting old back ups, cheacking my firewall, unintalling and reinstalling itunes, deleting pictures that may be corrupt. I just plugged my phone into a USB connected to my sisters MacBook and it backed up perfectly! Is this something wrong with my computer?

My dilema is it's going to take me 2+ hours and lots of expense to get to the store on the 24th, the last thing I want to do is turn up at lunch time (about when i'd finally arrive) to find out they've sold mine / sold out.

In testing I have e-mailed all of the seperate certs to myself to see for sure which one in the chain is not trusted. I find that the Root Certificate "Verisign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority - G5" dated 11/7/2006 to 7/16/2036 is the one that mis matches the one in on my phone. I read that the key for the cert http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5012 doesnt match the one directly from Verisign therefore verisign cert isnt trusted.

Jun 25, 2012With my iPhone 4, running iOS 5.1.1, syncing notes in Mail results in a stange blank Notes document appearing in the Notes sidebar in Mail. The Notes look like a yellow sheet of ruled paper, as they do on my iPhone, but they open to reveal no information other than their names.
Once opened, they disappear from my list of Notes, and upon the next sync via USB cable from my iPhone to my Mac, the notes also disapepar from the phone. When opened in Mail, the blank and useless no-longer-a-note Notes will not close unles I quit Mail. I am running Snow Leopard 10.6.8. In Mail, I've tried both listing the Notes in the Inbox, and as their own separate group.

Sep 2, 2010I only have 800 MB free (in Settings -> General -> About) but iTunes tells me I have 3.9 GB. If i remove the phone and then reconnect, iTunes will then show me 800 MB (0.8 GB) I just reproduced the problem by simply going into the apps tab and moving an app to a different folder. My free space immediately changes from 0.8 GB to 3.9 GB. What's going on ?
