Mar 29, 2012I am having problems with my iPhone. I am try to restore it to 5.1 and on the screen where it says "Waiting for iPhone", the screen will just show iTunes error 9. I already tried to uninstall (All Apple products on my Windows --- in order) and re-install iTunes (with PC restart) and I am still getting the same error.

I connected my iphone to my computer for the first time today, after using it for several months, and i accidentally pressed the restore button and all my settings, pictures, notes etc. disappeared. Instead i only got a few things from the last iPhone i had... Is there any way to get a hold of the content i lost? I have saved it to iCloud, but i don't have a mac to open it with. Is there any other way to transfer it to the iPhone?

Restoring Backup In ITunes For IPhone 6Â Plus
Dec 1, 2014Before I activated my new iphone 6+ today ... I backed up my old iphone 4 into my computer through itunes.Â
After activation I went into itunes to restore today's backup into the new phone and the backup from today vanished.Â
Part of the problem may be that when I plugged in the new phone itunes asked me to update their software in my computer.Â
Is there anyway to retrieve my backup from today?Â

Jun 26, 2014I seem to have lost my data in iphone 5s. It is asking to either setup as a new phone or restore from itunes backup. The last back i did was today afternoon when everything was intact. But once the iphone was connected to itunes, it automatically started backing up the device with no data (as it was wiped out), now when I attempt to restore from itunes backup all it does is restore from the latest backup.This afternoon's successful backup does not seem to get listed in the list of backups. The reason for doing backup is to restore when in need.

Jun 21, 2010My iPhone 4 shipped, yay! This is my first iPhone upgrade and have never needed to restore the backup from my 3g to a new phone. So my question is. I have my new IP4 shipping to my house but I sync with iTunes on my work computer.
Can I activate my new IP4 on iTunes on my home PC in the evening when I get home to my shiny new phone and then restore all my settings, data and apps from my work PC iTunes the next morning at work? Or do I need to just wait until I get to work to activate the new phone?

Jun 9, 2012I attempted to update my iphone 3 using itunes. I'm not certain but I believe I did a backup on my pc first. I am now unable to use the phone at all - the slide bar won't move and I have a camera icon next to the slide bar which is not responsive. I have tried to sync and even left the phone connected to the pc overnight. The phone is going flat within a couple of hours and won't stop beeping every few seconds and seems to be syncing all the time, even when disconnected from pc. I am fearful that I have lost all my contacts - nothing is working?

May 22, 2012I am experiencing some trouble with my iMessage. Just a couple of days ago, I was able to receive and send messages through the iMessage. Until yesterday, a friend of mine sent me messages and I wasn't able to receive them. I also tried sending some of mine too, but it wouldn't. So I did all the necessarry actions needed.
1. Toggle on and off the iMessage from the settings. Didn't work.
2. Reset Network settings. Didn't work.
3. Turned the iPhone on and off. Didn't work.
4. Restored the iPhone, still didn't work.
What could possibly be the reason behind this? And what else could I do?

Jul 2, 2012My Iphone needed to be restore according to itunes. But it was not able to restore due to error 28. I took my phone to a seller who opened my phone but he was not able to fix it. After that I find out that my warranty was lost and apple can not replace my phone although it is in the 1 year warranty.
