View 1 Replies View RelatedI had purchased a Sony Ericsson Elm (J10i2) mobile last week. I found the mobile to freeze often and so, had to manually remove the battery in order to get it working. So, when I took it to the vendor, the person restored my phone to factory settings. But after this resetting process, all of my Sony Ericsson in built themes like GreenHeart got erased from the mobile except for Flow theme. I am aware that restoring to factory settings restores the phones to it's defaulted features and settings. But how come do the inbuilt themes get erased as well?

I have a 9700 have had it about 7 months with any problems UNTIL about 3 days ago. I noticed my Blackberry Messenger, Yahoo EMAIL, and Facebook applications are no longer connecting. My Blackberry browser is still working. I used to have FireFox and EI as options and since I updated my phone, they have since been erased.
Ive Updated, Ive swiped, Ive returned everything to factory settings. Ive deleted and reloaded all the apps along with replacing my sim card.
I picked up my phone to make a call and noticed it looked VERY different, different splash screen, apps lined up differently, etc.
When I went to look for an app, I noticed they were all gone. Somehow, my phone reset itself and I lost everything -- all installed apps, phone lists, everything.
Is there anyway to go back to a state that existed before this? FWIW, I live in Guangzhoung...and the only thing I did that was even remotely different was I reloaded the phone (china unicomm).

Today, I decided to upgrade my iphone's ISO to 7.1.1, and I decided to upgrade it using itunes, which I hardly use. When I plugged the iphone in, the first thing itunes asked was "back up". I thought itunes was asking to back up my pictures, so I clicked yes. It turned out that itunes asked to restore my phone with a back up I made a year ago. all my pictures were replaced with pictures from back up... Unfortunately, I did not turn on cloud service to back up pictures. Is there any way to restore pictures I lost?

I have a big problem and I hope someone is able to help me. So i recently bought an iPhone 3g on ebay and it was already unlocked and jailbroken. I wanted to delete the contacts in there so I did the "erase all contents and settings." The things is, I did not know I was not suppose to do that to a jailbroken iPhone. Now my phone is stuck on the logo screen with the loading wheel thing. I did not look at the firmware version or any other specs. I also tried to do a restore on itunes, but I got "iphone could not be restored error 20." I am new to this, can someone please help me?

The only thing that I see is the Memo app. The Restore has recovered most of my data. What's missing is all the memos that contain a ton of important info. What do I need to do to recover the data? View 7 Replies View Relatedwhen I was upgrading to 4, I got some error that came up (something like MobileBackup.exe has crashed, not too sure what it was) and it stopped restoring. However, it is still called "Anthony's iPhone", the same as during the last upgrade and I synced it so I still have all my old apps. Is there anyway I can recover all these lost contacts etc? It's basically like a new phone now with apps, I had to so the shift+restore method to upgrade as my iTunes account wasn't logging in.
Oh and btw, yes I was doing it on Vista because my iMac broke a few weeks ago, so no comments like "because you're on Windows" please :P

I have a small problem with my Iphone 4 5.1 - modem firmware 4.12.01 and I had it just replaced two weeks ago and it was locked and not activated.
After working on it to activate it (don't have the original sim the mobile was locked to) I decide to restore it to factory setting, as it was when replaced. I tried with Itunes but it gives me error 3194 putting it in a loop and later I tried to do it via the device itself (settings > general > reset > cancell data and settings) but it got stuck on the loading circle for 5-6 hours so I pressed together power and home to shut it down.
So what should I do now to restore it to factory settings? I don't know what to do and I don't want to endanger my warranty (if it is still on at this point!!!).I have windows 7 and tried with a different usb ports or with no firewall but to no avail.

I follow the steps provided here: iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled. I connect my iPhone 4s to my computer and select the "Restore iPhone..." option and then select "Restore and Update" after I get a pop-up. She bought a new case for her Verizon S5, and in the process of swapping cases, somehow managed to factory reset her phone. So all of our vacation photos are gone. Her cloud storage is full, so nothing from the last 6 months was recoverable from the cloud.
