I had a piece of electrical tape over my phone for a few days and I swear it makes the signal harder to pick up somewhat. Prevents death grip and can pick up the signal and sustain it, but getting that signal seems tougher. Can anyone attest?I think I'm going to keep it off and just deal or use the pIxelskin.

i do not have an electrical engineering background and in fact know very little about amps, watts, etc. however to understand my power and charging needs for the playbook, i googled. anyone who knows this better feel to correct me.-the included outlet to micro-usb charger provides 1.8amps at 5volts.-the typical pc to micro-usb cable provides around 0.5amps at 5volts.-the typical power usage of a playbook while active and running is 2-3 watts (which is about 0.5amps to 0.75amps at around 4 volts (depending on battery state).So if the above is true, the pc to micro-usb charger will pretty much cover the usage amps or maybe even less but wont actually increase the amount of stored energy (breaks even).The included charger will provide about 1amp of juice to store after subtracting the 0.5 to 0.75amps of usage.but what is the maximum charger amps or voltage which can charge the playbook the fastest via outlet to micro-usb?is 5v the maximum and amps are the limiting factor? or can any amount of voltage and amps be used? i need it to be microusb not the magnetic post cable because my stand uses microusb. the reason i mention usage while active instead of standby mode is because i plan to run a night table clockapp which will draw 2watts but still want to charge the device quickly.

I am able to choose the other 3 options (with the blue checkmark toggling in the checkboxes), but nothing happens. When I exit and pull down the connection from the notifications list it just reverts back to "Charge Only" no matter what I try.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI received a Verizon "CLND" I've had issues with it charging. Not with battery drain or charge time(when it does charge). Occasionally when I plug my d4 in, to charge I receive no response from the battery icon nor on the lock screen. Other times I plug it in it charges just fine. Things I've tried: wipe cache partition via recovery menu, factory reset via settings>privacy>factory reset>erase internal memory, factory reset via recovery menu then wipe cache partition, safe mode, charge while off, different USB, different outlet, different adapter (part that plug into the wall that you plug the USB into), charge at work, charge via Xbox,PC, and car charger. All micro USB's, adapters and car charger is legit Motorola products adapter and USB are factory products received with purchase of d4 and RAZR. I did notice when the device is off the moment I plug the USB into the phone the notification led flashes green once (thinking of the beep codes on a PC). I am unsure as to what might be causing this issue I would love to get this resolved without having another "CLND " or sending it in for repairs

My phone can be seen by everyone when bluetooth are active, I accept the file that other people want to share and then a message such as "connection failed" or similar,appear on the phone of the other people. My iPhone 4S has been working on and off for as long as I've had it. There are times when I can't make or receive calls or send or receive texts.When I attempt to make a call, it never rings and when I try to end these calls, it doesn't register that the call has ended. People receive these calls but when they answer, there is silence. If people call me, I don't get any notification of this.
When I send texts, the loading bar at the top of the page never reaches the end - the same things happens: people receive the texts but when they reply it never reaches me.I have replaced the phone and it did t make a difference. So I can receive texts from everyone in my contacts and who I normally text, but this one girl in my contacts has been telling me she receives my texts but then complains when I dont answer her, but I have not been receiving these texts. I have an iPhone with sprint, and it has worked more than amazingly prior to this. It wasn't until last night around 12am that this started. I have had the phone for 4 to 5 months now. The bars in the top left are flat and occasionally one will pop up. I can t make calls and texts are slow to or just don't send at all. I was messing around on my download app in the browser and it closed and then thu problem arises. I have deleted the app even turned on and off my phone several times and turned airplane mode on and off several times.
