Just had to get a new phone.but my purchased ring tones are not found in my itunes account to use I am able to see that they were purchased. Can you only use a ring tone for one phone?

I purchased an album of Alert Tones off of iTunes, but they appear as music on my iPhone, instead of as tones so I can change my alerts in Settings > Sounds. All of the tones are only 3 - 5 seconds long, so they clearly are not "songs". I cannot figure out how to "move/convert" them to being sounds (alerts), not songs/music. What makes me even more crazy is that if I purchase a single tone, it will go into my Settings > Sounds as an alert/ringtone, but when I purchase the whole album of alert tones, they are saved as music.

I just got this phone yesterday. I did everything that everyone said, made the thing through ituens, under 40 seconds changed it to a m4r file put it in my tunes tab in itunes, and tabs tunes is checked to sync along with everything else but when i sync it my ringtones aren't anywhere please help!!! i need to put ringtones on my phone! I even unchecked the tunes synced my iphone again then checked the tunes tab again and still nothing?

I recently bought this phone and I can't put ringtones on it. I cannot open my phone via PC like i did with some previous ones (through removable disk ( x: )) and then just dump some mp3 files (or converted files in some cases) and then I could see them in my phone and just add them as ringtones. Sorry I'm not good with the technical terms. Plz help.
I have also tried buying a ringtone and it sent me a text message with the link, i clicked retrived and it gave me an error on browser page. When you can't even BUY ur ringtones, theres a problem. Help appreciated.

Probably finger trouble.The volume is at maximum.I only have the standard ring tones.I cannot hear them when a call is received and also not when selecting them from Settings/ Tones/ Ring tone/More/Open gallery/Tones/Ring tones.I can hear the tones through the hands free earphone, both when a call is received and when selecting them .Being able to hear the keypad tones, with the handset not plugged in, I think means the mechanical speaker cutoff is not involved.

Once I had done this I noticed that my selection of ring tones had diminished from the ones previously installed with the new phone.Following the instructions for downloading ring tones (Media File - ringtones - select menu - then select Download Ring Tones) I notice that I do not have the option to Download! Even visiting the BB website it still tells me to follow the same instruction!

First off, when I upgraded it changed all my ring tones which is fine because I remember them all. But now when I go to change them, it only let's me choose music as ring tones. All the standard ones that came with the phone are missing, and those are what I was using. Is anyone else experiencing this problem or know how to fix it? View 2 Replies View RelatedI've got a Nokia X6 from T-Mobile and I am very satisfied - except for one thing:When connecting the phone with a headset, the ringtone and the notification for sms will be played through the loudspeakers. I've solved it by switching the phone automatically into the pager profile when the headset is recognized by the phone but I would prefer it if the usual sound would be played by the headset only so I can differentiate between phone calls and messages without looking on the screen.
I've tried the WH-701 that came with the phone and the AD-54 I use with my own headphones.
