I currently seem to have 3 occurrences of my desktop contact list on my BB, hence I get 3 entries for most of my contacts and when people call in I dont get the person's name displaying on my phone just the company name, very frustrating to have to select the right contact list every time I go into contacts.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am in need of a high quality IphoneIpad application for organising multiple to do lists for business use. I essentially want to create a "to do list" for various people and projects. Ideally it needs to sync with the web so I can update on the iphone, ipad and via www. Or at least a PC desktop client.

I have 2 Desktop contact lists on my phone. The First has all of the contacts that I really want to keep. However, I am unable to sync it either wirelessly or through the desktop application. The desktop application seems to be unable to find that list. I tried google sync, it also only finds the Second list.

I have a user who had a Bold 9700, which contained 5 address books all called Desktop. 3 of these were empty, one had 403 contacts and the other had 452 contacts. The one with 403 contacts sync'd up with Outlook no problem, however it seems as though whenever he added a contact directly to the device it went to the other list with 452. Blackberry Desktop can't seem to see these contacts to sync to the computer.
He was due a device upgrade, so we went to a Torch 9800. I backed up the data from his old device and restored it to the new one. Now I have 2 address books; one called Desktop with 403 items and the other called Unknown with 452 items. Again, the "Unknown" one can't be seen by Blackberry Desktop Software and won't sync to his PC.
All the fixes I've managed to find have involved deleting his lists on the device and resyncing from the Outlook client. This doesn't help me unfortunately, as he has hundreds of contacts on his device which don't exist in Outlook at all.
how I can either get the desktop software to see the "Unknown" list, or merge the two together.
I would like to consolidate contact lists. What's the best way to do this on Torch?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've got contact lists on my BB that I don't even have email addresses for., different entries for the same person, etc. (I haven't sync'd addresses in the past because a lot of contacts I didn't want on my BB anyway) ..I've got addresses in Thunderbird and addresses in Yahoo... it's ridiculously disorganized! OK, so finally, I decided to clean it all up and sync everything after corrections and deleting duplicates.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a RAZR M. View 1 Replies View RelatedI am an Executive Assistant and use Microsoft Outlook on a daily basis. I have up to 3 or more different calendars created for various things. This is the same case as with my Contacts. I have a separate contact list for my boss as I do for myself. And with regard to the calendars, I do this so I can print him off a calendar at any time without it being affected by anyone else's or my own appointments showing up.
I am very familiar with Blackberry's and my work has awesomely provided me with a new BB Bold 9650.THE ISSUE: My BB is syncing all calendars and contact lists. I DO NOT want to sync all these calendars and contact lists.I just want to sync certain calendars and only certain contact lists. My BB is a crazy ol' mess with contacts showing up 2 and sometimes 3 times and the one calendar I can view on my BB has my boss' appointments with my appointments and other crazy appointments.I swear I think my appointments even have appointments. LOL! (cheesy joke).WHAT I DO KNOW: My company is using a "BES" (?) server for wireless syncing. I have already tried going into options>advanced options>default services to change the calendar I am picking up. It's stuck and I do not have the ability to change it. I am guessing it's b/c my job has the phone "locked" with an IT policy.
I have searched and searched online to try and figure out how to get around this to no avail. I spoke with Verizon and they said to contact my IT Department. I contacted my IT Department and they said to contact Verizon. BTW, the pi$$-ant in I have to work with in IT is in a wrank mood today as most days. Always testy and I would just love if I could call him up and tell his know-it-all punk a$$ what he needs to do to fix the problem. If it's something I can do on my own, that would be even better.
method of deleting an old email accoun in the contacts section of the handset?
I set up a second email account and synched all my contacts not thinking that the handset would show them all twice. I found that you could show only one set but i had to go into options and do this every time i wanted to display only one set of contacts on the device. In the end this drove me nuts and i've since deleted one email account as it is rarely used for anything other than purchasing things over the internet. I thought that this would resolve the issue and the deleted account disappeared as you would expect but there is a hangover in the contacts lists where it still shows both sets of contacts and i can see the old gmail account is still there. I've rebooted the device and been through all the menus and the only place this old email account exists is in the contacts folder.
Ideally i would like both accounts on the handset and for it to only display one set of contacts from one account at any time while still synching both email accounts when any changes are made on the handset.

I have many contacts that are couples and have a phone number for each individual. For example, if I had a contact for Jack & Jill, I would have a mobile number for Jill and a mobile number for Jack. In the Contacts I also custom label each mobile number as Jill's mobile and Jack's mobile. When I receive a text message from either of these phone numbers, in Messages I just see that the text is from Jack & Jill. I can't see if it is from Jack's mobile or Jill's mobile. Is there any way to see in Messages exactly which mobile is sending me the text? Or am I going to have to have a separate contact for each person, i.e. Jack & Jill will have to be split up as a contact for Jill and a contact for Jack?

I have a contact with two phones - for instance, John and Jane Doe. I want to text them each separately, and easily see who I'm texting. But in the Messages history, it displays "John and Jane Doe". And it's a hassle to click on the message, then "Contact", then "i" to see which is colored blue.Â
I've even added custom identifiers to each phone number in gmail contacts. Instead of "Mobile" or "Work" I used their names, "John" and "Jane". I'd like to see those custom identifiers in the Messages app.
I'm not able to make multiple/conference calls on my xperia neo v. 'Not Able To Switch Between Calls' Is the message displayed.
