May 30, 2012How do I setup my son's Iphone 3gs to hit my apple itunes store acct when he needs to buy music? Right now when he is trying to purchase from Itunes it is defaulting to his apple ID which is his gmail account. I've looked through settings but when I get to where I can change it to my apple id it prompts for a new password including a number. My apple id does not have a number in it. I must be in the wrong place.

Jun 28, 2012Four days ago my iPhone frost, and requested iTunes to connect. I plugged it in to computer and connected to iTunes. Then iTunes asked me whether i want to reset iphone to factory settings, and format it, and update new upgrade. I select OK. When the format and updating is done, iPhone gives and SIM card error. I think it requests its first SIM card that is already given within iphone at buying it. But i do not find that SIM Card? What am i supposed to do?

IPhone :: 4 - Stuck On Itunes Connect Screen Of Death After Update Download
Mar 14, 2012My phone said to download update so I did which then lead to the itune connect screen. I connected my phone to the PC and opened itunes which gave me the message that it did not recognize my phone and would have to restore factory setting. I tried to reboot my phone by holding down both buttons (no red slider ever appears) until it turned off. Once I turned it back on it went right back to that screen. I tried to restore factory setting and it gave me an error.
This is now know as the SCREEN OF DEATH!!!!!
Anyone know what's going on? I've already tried this[URL]did not work.
It's like the worst case of the Monday's on Wednesday with 5 meeting lined up and NO PHONE!

Mar 12, 2010Today my JB'd 3G on 3.1.2 went into a funky state and I attempted to reboot. Since then I've been stuck on the Apple logo at start up and nothing.
So, i put the phone in DFU mode and Itunes 9 is giving me the option to "Update & Restore", HOWEVER, I dont want to do this because I want to stay on 3.1.2 for obvious reasons. I also have been reading stuff about SHSH but I have no clue what this is so one can assume I never did anything prior regarding SHSH.
When itunes has the pop up on the screen saying "update and restore" can I hold "shift and click "update&restore" to choose a 312 ipsw, or is that option only available if restoring without being in DFU mode.

Apr 20, 2012i have a customer who has a iphone and needs to update to ios 5.1 for a corporate app to work. he does not have personnal machine at home to install itunes on, and the company will not allow itunes to be installed on any of their systems (you cant even run the installer as its blocked).i have my own machine that i connect to their guest wifi but when i try to download the ios 5.1 update, it says 36 hours remaining (i think they are blocking the traffic).is there a way to download the firmware while i have my machine at home and then install when i am back with the user (i only see the user for about 1 hour a week)
