i had the iphone 4 and was working with my apple id and then i gave the phone to my uncle. Then he took my apple id off and put his ID on the iphone4. But it still had my apps from my ID and now ever time he said he tried to download an app it wont. I was wondering is it because my apps from my apple ID is still on there or some other reason.
I got an iphone 5 from my aunt who used it for a while before giving it up. Now I'm trying to set all profiles. I could do some settings but when I try to update apps, it's my aunt's account that appears. How to change the id apple and use my account?
I have an apple ID but when I go into the app store and download free apps, a notification pops up ad says "this apple ID has not been used in ITunes yet"
Why is Apple requiring my date of birth in order to download free apps to my iPhone?Apparently this is a recent change in their policy.Who came up with this stupid idea?Obviously Apple just wants to uee my DOB for marketing purposes (or even worse to sell it to other companies). If I would have known that Apple would require my personal information I would have gotten an Android phone instead.
I am trying to download apps from the store and it wont let me download any app even free ones. It tells me to sign in and to check my billing information. I check it and my details are correct but it says there was a problem with the previous purchase. How do i sort this out?
I'm trying to download the apps i have on my phone and hopefully there content onto my apple mac, so when i get my new iPhone, i can just download the apps back onto the new phone without having to re-download all of them
How do I setup my son's Iphone 3gs to hit my apple itunes store acct when he needs to buy music? Right now when he is trying to purchase from Itunes it is defaulting to his apple ID which is his gmail account. I've looked through settings but when I get to where I can change it to my apple id it prompts for a new password including a number. My apple id does not have a number in it. I must be in the wrong place.
How can I read Adobe digital edition type media (books) on my iphone that I did NOT download through Apple or iTunes? They are from another source. All the apps I find want me to download from them, not read or import existing material.
So this just started this morning but my iPhone 3G will not launch any apps other than the preloaded apple apps. When I try to launch them they load for a second and then it goes back to the home screen. I havent loaded any new apps so I am not sure what is going on.
I'm not sure if my memory is faulty or what, but I don't remember ads being in Apple apps prior to jailbreaking... for example, I'm seeing a banner ad for 'We Farm' at the bottom of my screen while I'm in the phone's Settings app (screenshot below). I hope this isn't the start of adware for the iphone
how do i change my apple id in my apps ; i had another persons account on my phone now that i created my own , the old one keeps poppin up instead of mine
So, I already don't use Voice Memos, Compass and Stocks. Now, I'm going to have Game Center on my phone? I liked it better when I only had Apple apps on the first page, then the second page could be third party apps. Why can't we at least choose what native apps we want on our screen? I'm sick of unused apps just sitting there taking up places that useful apps could be.Yes, I've tried folders, but I think folders are ugly looking. Just my opinion.Gosh. I'm so glad HDR isn't an extra app.
I have been playing around after installing a beta from bigboss's beta repo that gets rid of recent apps, and only keeps backgrounder apps in the multitasking in bar. All the official apps work in he background (maps, app store, camera, etc.)After freeing memory with sbsettings, (once again beta that "free mem" is not glitched), these apps takes a lot less memory than they did before. Mobile music only uses approx 10-15mb now, a lot less than before. I could run maps, app store, music, and angry birds flawlessly. this was all on a regular 3g. BTW: Bigboss beta repo: thebigboss. org /betarepo/the music controls also work fine in the "double click multitask" menu, as does the rotation lock. the ipones' as zippy as ever
The background feature single-handedly killed every other smart phone on the market. I realize other phones can run apps in the background, but Apple did it properly.
To see one app roll off screen to the left as another quickly rolls on from the right is just simply pleasing to watch. App switching on the 3GS is hitch free, I'm excited to see how well my iPhone 4 will do with twice the RAM.
