I have read all the topics regarding modding of camera drivers.I tried every driver like best_pic_color_V8, witchkings cx v8.0, strong 1.5 beta, cyber-sHut v4.3 by pohuman , tough-shot and 3 more.All the drivers are very good and are efficient in giving good colors. Now i am interested to mod camera driver.So can anyone give me tutorials for developing code for camera driver.I am a starter in programming and i know basics in assembly and c and java.I think all the modders are writing codes depending on hardware.What i understand after editing the driver in notepad is that you are giving values and changing them for every mode (twilight,auto,document etc.)Even if it's time taking i want to learn these things and i am interested in it.So can anyone send me the link for tutorials.It will be a great help for me.

I accidently used blackra1n on a 3.0.1 iPhone 3G and it put the phone in recovery mode and that's all the iPhone is doing now... The phone is NOT recognizing that anything is plugged into it now... Before doing this the computer did recognize the phone.Also, the power button is broken.

I did and when i connect my phone to the Itunes and it said that i need to restore my phone and download new version. I did both. But i did not see my phone update new version ( 5.1.1). I discovered over the weekend that the speaker on my iphone is broken and I want to replace it with a new phone. (This includes no audio notifications for phone, messages or emails). My phone has been JB for over a month, and, as part of the process for determining if the JB was the cause of my speaker not working, I reverted my phone back to a pre-JB state on 4.0.1 (with a lot of assistance from people on this board!). I have 4.0.1 firmware and Cydia has my SHSH info.
Here is the question: can I back-rev a 4.0.2 phone to 4.0.1 given the above information (using Tinyumbrella etc) or must I wait for the 4.1 JB?
My son recently added a password to his iPhone. He forgot it, I have tried hooking it up to the computer we have last synched it with, and tried to restore it. Unfortunately, find my iPhone is enabled, so I get a message that says "Find My iPhone must be turned off before "iPhone" can be restored," when I try to restore it.

I washed my iPhone 4s last week. I just got my replacement phone. I want to restore from iCloud (for my calendar) and iTunes (for everthing else like contacts, etc.) but when I try to do that it says I have to turn off "find my phone" from my old iPhone. My old phone's display is dead so I can't do anything on it. It still rings when I get a call but I can't answer it.

I reset my all my settings on my iphone 4s. thats where the trouble began. It then asked me to set it up as a new phone or restore it. I chose to restore it. I went about restoring as usual, but after the restoration, when it reset, the apple logo appeared and thats it. The phone never started up properly again. When I try to get past it and sync, it goes through most of the sync steps and then the phone resets itself. I've tried most avenues for fixing this. If i just set it up as a new phone will for now and then try to restore it from a back up will i loose all of my data, music, photos, etc?

So, I just bought a JB'en iphone 3g tonight.Went ahead and unlocked it using ultrasn0w.Connected it to my mac/itunes, and it asks "an iphone has been previously synced with this computer. setup as a new iphone -or- restore the backup of ***"So, since I had purchased apps using my *** phone (actually was an ipod touch that i got rid of), I'm thinking that I should restore the backup so that I can get my paid apps back for free.
Questions:
-will restoring this backup to the new unlocked phone restore it to its original locked state (i.e. will i have to re-jailbreak/unlock)? or will it simply restore preferences, etc...?
-otherwise, if i call this phone a new name, is there a way to transfer my purchased apps to the new phone's account?
how can i keep "missed text message" & " missed phone call" from showong on my phone home screen?

I'd really be grateful to you if could help me out with this. I have got a locked Nokia N91. I went to a local mobile repair shop which claims to unlock branded phone. While it was being unlocked, the phone got some error for some unknown reason and now whenever I start my phone, all it says is ' phone start-up failed, contact the retailer' the repairer says the phone's IMEI is damaged which I have confirmed from various repair shops and would need some RPL file (which I haven't got any idea about) and since Nokia servers are down its not possible right now, he tells me to wait for a bit before the servers are up on the run again. I have no idea if its even true. All I want to know is Can My Phone really be Repaired? And if Yes whats the Criteria for doing so? And if i take my phone to Nokia repair shop. I am afraid they would not fix it since they haven't got a license to unlock branded phones.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a Nokia 1020 and i suspect that there are something wrong with the camera. The quality of the photos that i take are, in my opinion, nowhere near the ones you can se in reviews and those released by Nokia.
To me it looks like it's only the middle part of every photo that is correctly focused. The edges are very blurry. I have no case on the phone, no dirt on the lens and i have tried to reset the camera and reboot, no difference.
I will attach some photos on which I think you can see it clearly. The images are very sharp in the middle but when you move towards the edges it quickly becomes blurry. Both pictures are taken in daylight with Nokia Pro Cam, all settings on auto.
