how can i enable the arabic pc keyboard on the IOS 5. if i chose Arabic PC keyboard or the regular one, the only one that appear is the arabic MAC keyboard.

View 16 Replies View RelatedThe Xperia Mini Pro is advertised as having this excellent feature called Smart Keyboard where, when you slide out the hardware keyboard, it enables you immediately to start typing an SMS or email or search phrase or whatever. However, despite having "Enable smart keyboard" checked in Settings -> Sony Ericsson, this has never worked for me - either from the normal Sony Ericsson Home launcher or any other, either with stock firmware or with subsequent updates (currently on 4.0.2.A.0.58). Sliding out the hardware keyboard just unlocks the phone, that's it. Interestingly, this promised feature is also mentioned as not working in this review of the SK17i's big brother, the Xperia Pro.

You are selling a product in the middle east and the least you can do is provide an arabic guide along with it. Called up Nokia care, they ask you to call Axiom, call Axiom and they ask you to call Nokia. Gave up the hope. Tried to get a user guide from the Nokia support website. Go to http://www.nokia.ae/support-en/support-en/n97-mini/guides and select Arabic and the page comes back with an HTTP 404 Not Found.
Imagine buying a phone worth 2500 AED and you don't have a user guide to go with that. Imagine calling up Axiom and Nokia care line just to hear that there is no guide provided in Arabic with the phone. Imagine you feel like an idiot buying something that does not make you happy. Now imagine if that someone were to be you.
I have recently purchased Nokia Lumia with Windows mobile 7 and it's installed with English language. I'm wondering if there's somehow or somewhere I can download an Arabic language package to install in my regional settings. I don't want to have an Arabic interface, I just want to be able to read Arabic mails or SMS.
