IPhone :: Delete Pictures That Have Been Synced On From Another Computer?
Jul 4, 2012
before our home computer crashed i synced some pictures on my phone, now they are using up space and i dont want them on there anymore but i can't figure out how to delete them. iv'e went through my itunes and i can't find anything.
I've seen many variations on the answer to this question including linking the iPhone to the computer, going to photos under "iPhone," clicking sync all photos, selected photos, and clicking off the checks on the folders. My only concern with doing this is that it will delete all the photos on my phone not synced from my computer. Will that happen if I do this?
How do I delete the photo albums on my iphone 5s synced from my computer? the delete sign doesn't even appear next to those huge albums occupying 26 gb of my iphone.
How to delete photos from my iPhone 5 previously synced from my desktop but now have been deleted from my computer? I have an album on my phone named Desktop and can't delete photos from this album on my phone and they don't show up in iTunes now.
Just got my 9850 and love it, except for one item -- I "synced" pictures from my computer to my device, but I can't get the 9850 to show them. I actually pulled the SD card out of the phone and checked it on my computer -- they're there, but I can't view them when the card is in the device. I can play my music from the card, but no pics. I'm sure it's simple, but nothing I've tried works.
I don't have access to the original computer that my 4 was synced too. 4s due to a contract upgrade, and want to transfer the information from my old phone to my new. However, when my boyfriend has tried to synch it with his computer, by choosing the backing up option in iTunes nothing actually happens. I really don't want to lose the information on my old phone. What can I do please?
I no Can my iPhone 4 be synced to a new computer without losing all the information on it, as I no longer have access to the original computer, that it was synced too? When I have tried to do this on a mac computer, nothing would happen.
I forgot my passcode to I decided to sync my iPhone 5s to the computer and when I did a message came up saying "Do you want the computer to access information on (my phone name)?" I clicked continue and it says "To allow access, please respond on your iPhone" Except,to do that I would need my passcode to unlock my phone, which I forgot. What should I do?
I don't want to take my iPhone to the apple store cause they have been ripping me off a lot lately and it cost a lot of money just to do one thing. I already tried factory resetting twice to no avail.
Used a friend's laptop to access some data in my phone (a voice memo) and send an audio file to someone. Can the friend now access my data from her laptop without being connected to my phone with a USB?
The iphone "myname 's iPhone " could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this phone "Â i restored my iphone several times but the same problem when i first restored my iphone i could transfer apps and synced successfully , but after a while im not able to sync my iphone or transfer apps , it happened to me with an iphone 4 and now iphone 5 ...
We have an apple family consisting of an iPhone 4, iPad2, and an iphone 3G which we just upgraded to an iPhone 4 today. When we were setting up the new iPhone 4 to connect to iCloud and our apple ID we accidentally merged all the contacts via iCloud from both iPhones into 1 large contact list (the same list on both phones). We keep separate contact lists for our phones, but use iCloud to sync everything else together. I already figured out how to turn off the syncing of the contacts, but is there any way to revert/delete or however you want to word it, the contacts list back to each phone having only their original contacts? When I turned off the contact syncing in the iCloud settings it did ask if I wanted to keep the contacts from icloud or delete them so out of fear of it deleting ALL my contacts I tapped Yes to keep them (probably the wrong choice there). On my wife's new phone it is no big deal, I just manually deleted the 20 or so contacts that were added from my phone, but she has 100+ contacts that are now on my phone that I would rather not delete one by one manually. I also figure I could just do a restore from a backup on my phone through iTunes, but its been a while since I did one and I would end up loosing recent data and contacts so that isn't an option.
I just synced my iphoto from my mac to my Iphone 5s and now I can't delete the pictures i don't want from iphoto. It also deleted most of the pictures from my camera roll. What do I do to delete the pictures I don't want and get my other pictures back?
Got my htc and started the facebook app, and it started adding contacts to my phone book, managed to stop it before too many where added, but its added numbers I just don't want and can not see any way of deleting them.
I am trying to delete photos on my iPhone 5. I select the photos and videos I want deleted, but the trash can in the lower right hand corner is greyed out. How do I get these pictures off my phone? These are all pictures I took with the phone.
I just switched to the HTC One M9 and am using GoSMS Pro for my messaging. In my Phonebook Contacts, all of my linked FB contacts have their current profile pic showing up but in the GoSMS Pro app, they just show up as default blue avatar. I can manually save each profile pic and assign it to a contact, but I don't want to have to do that for all of my FB friends!
These are the only setting options I have in GoSMS Pro:
I was going through my memorie card and I was attempting to delete pictures. I would click delete and the message "the selected file is read only.are you sure you wish to delete file" I click yes and the picture is still there.
