I confirmed the right logon and password several times, but still only able to logon the desktop. What can I do?

my problem that i want to purchase some software and what ever password i will provide the devide will inform me that "Unable to lohin to your BB ID account" :
1. i know my password.
2. i reset my password several times.
3. i can access my account from the PC (browser).
I do not seem to be able to logon to the training portal - it keeps trying to search for a logon file. Anyone else haveing these issues?
View 10 Replies View RelatedOrange sent me a new sim as I've had issues with reception dropping.so received new sim, put in my phone monday (16/4) when I was advised it will be activated.When I try to enter my logon and password to the BBID screen that comes up, nothing happens.I get a please wait message, nothing further happens.Called orange who were pretty much useless, told me to wait until 8pm last night (17/4) as my new sim should be activated with blackberry by then.I've tried removing battery & removing sim various times for various amounts of time.today I still cannot get into my phone, my BBID is def correct.Really do not want to wipe my phone and start all over.

I tried to use the blackberry desktop manager. Asked me to enter my pin. I did, it wouldnt accept it. I unplugged my phone to use it, it continued to tell me my password to unlock it as incorrect and rather than displaying the astrericks that it normally does when you enter the unlock password, it was displaying the actual characters so, I know that neither the keys are not faulty nor the password is incorrect. Its simply not accepting my password anymore.

Once if the handset was already unlocked and twice if it is locked. It is not the Desktop manager that is the issue but the Blackberry device manager.Is there a way to stop the device manager requesting the password as it is annoying. Unfortunately I do not have a backup and I lost all my contacts and media files. Is there a way to rollback knowing that I did previously an upgrade for the software version over the air, so probably my data is stored somewhere on RIM servers.

I did not back up any of the data in my phone. Now, every time I turn on my phone (bold 9000) the battery dies within 2-3 hours and when I switch the battery it erases all contacts and adjustments to the settings that I've made. In addition to this, the phone gets super hot, even though I turn the phone off.

Simple question; Is there a way to reset your phone password via the Desktop software? My phone won't turn on and I was told I needed to Flash it to reset it. I signed on to the desktop software and it asks for my password. I can't for the life of me remember what it is. If not, is there a number I can call to get it reset? When I hooked up my phone it asked for my password which I entered only it hasn't accepted it. I have a Blackberry 9700 phone which has been working fine up until today when I decided to load the "Blackberry User Tools" software onto my P.C. at home. After successful installation and machine restart, I was asked to enter my "Device Password". Assuming this would be my password I set originally to lock my phone I entered it and found this didn't work. I subsequently attempted a number of other logical permutations but then realised that if I continued I would lock my phone. So I stopped (at 8/10 tries) and called my service provider "Orange UK" who advised they couldn't help me and that if I continued to enter the incorrect code, it would wipe my phone as it would automatically reset!When I connected via USB last time, it asked for me to enter the word "blackberry" which I did but when it then asked me to enter my password (which I assumed was the four digit numerical code I had originally set the phone with) it failed to work. I am now left with two further attempts. Please can anyone assist by advising me what I can do to overcome the problem without wiping my phone as the contents are very important to me.
