May 18, 2012I was living in China and purchased a iphone 4. Living in Vietnam now. When I search the internet, Safari directs me to China search engines. How do I change that?

Apr 25, 2012Is there any way to change the default web browser in OS6? I recently installed Opera Mini and like it much better than the stock OS6 browser, but there doesn't appear to be any way to change the default. When I click on links in the Twitter app for example, I want to view them in Opera, not the BB browser.

Aug 25, 2010I've gone into the browser > options > configuration and to change the default browser, I only get Google, Yahoo, and 2 others (which I don't care about).
I want to:
1) change the default to Google.CA - not .com (everything is returning US results even though I am located in southwestern ontario - NOT near the border)OR
2) change it to the google mobile local.
Also... using Rogers I can't seem to change the default "home" page from Rogers, so I never use the "home" page LOL. Any ideas on how I can do that? (I have the curve 8310)

Oct 8, 2010I changed the Default applications | Browsing internet setting from Web to Opera Mini. This does not seem to affect anything. Unless I actually start Opera Mobile, any application that has a URL link will start the default N97 browser instead of Opera Mobile.
Is there something else I need to do in order to change the default browser on the N97?

I want Chrome to be my default, and when I click on most links it is, but when I search something from the google search widget, whether I use my voice or type, if I click a link it opens in the default LG internet browser.
I went to apps and defaults, then cleared 'Internet' from being the default and when I tried another search I was asked which I wanted as default and selected Chrome.
