I have been using my sım free iphone 4 for 10 months. I upgraded it to IOS 5.1.1 on 10.05.2012. After installation I used it 1 day.At that time the screen locked 3 times and at last time I pushed to sleep/wake button to change locked screen to normal screen..At first pushing secreen changed to black but after that I couldn't not switch it on the phone again. A few times I already tried to push and hold the sleep/wake and home buttons at the same time nearly 1 minute but nothing has changed.
I have an iPhone 4s (Verizon). I had recently purchased what was described as an OEM screen plus LCD after I had cracked my factory screen. After replacing the screen and LCD such features as the side volume controls, vibrate switch, and proximity switch (dimming after accepting a call) have stopped working. I double checked to see that all of the connectors were pushed on correctly and they were. Is it possible this may not be an OEM screen and causing the problem or is there a piece of the hardware that I may have damaged that controls all of these functions (i.e. motherboard)?
So of course there's switch mode from work and "play". I have this issue where when I switch from one the theme changes and if I switch back the theme doesn't change. I thought this would be fix, but I guess I was the only one with this issue. Just updated to .54. I'm of course not going to do anything about it I'll just work with it. Seeing that nothing else is wrong with my phone but that. Which is GOOD. Anyway wanted to see if and one else has this issue. I've had this issue since .52 didn't have it before that.My N8 as current Green running Xeon^4 3.2.1My E72 as backup 1 WhiteMy E63 as backup 2 BLUE (Where's my Icon...?) and..[URL] with the popup notes Nokia sheesh I don't need help from you :/I run Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit/Ubuntu 11.10 64bit on my HP Dv6 1030us (DiViUs)Windows 7 64 bit Pro on my Desktop (Giniro)Green Nokia N8 Current Phone running Xeon^4 3.2.1
I love my iphone 3GS but I had to switch carriers, I paid $129.99 a month for unlimited min, data, text, picture, gps on my iphone and I cant believe Sprint have that and includes sprint tv also just for $69.99 a month.
I wish I could have a cdma iphone for sprint.
I hope Sprint and Apple work something out, because verizon sucks.
I have 100% 3G signal covering in my area. But my new Iphone 4S everytime tries to switch it to Edge. When I re-slide 3G toggle in setting it helps for 3 to 10 to turn back 3G signal. My previous Android phone didn't have this issue.
Twitter was not working so I unistalled it from Iphone. Reinstalled it but the phone then froze. Turned phone off but now it will not switch back on and is frozen on the apple screen.
I just got a new phone plan with Sprint which means I have the 4S now. I am also applying to study abroad in 2013. Out of curiosity, I popped the SIM slot and lo and behold is this Sprint-branded SIM, I suspect it's some sort of programming or network registration SIM? Anyways, I know I'll have to tell Sprint that I'm going overseas/unlocking and such. Plus, when I put in a foreign SIM, does it take priority over CDMA when both network types are in range? The places I may go are London, Germany or Korea. I know Korea has both networks and Europe is mainly GSM. I'm doing my research now that way I'm not rushing around trying to find the best network to get on when I land.
Face time will not switch on - I go to settings, select FaceTime and switch it on only to find that it immediateky returns to OFF. I cannot make FaceTime calls.
i have an iphone 4s thats is on my parents contract. i used their apple id when i first got my iphone and i want to switch it to my apple account. is there any way i can do that?
This was a very though decision for me to make but I have decided to switch over to the iPhone. I have always found it to be very intresting and I also liked it's design. Plus had Bell Mobility started selling the iPhone in July 2009 which was the same month I had purchased my Tour I would have considered getting it back then. I also looked the differences between a BlackBerry and an iPhone but I have tested them out at the Apple Store and I can get use to the touch screen, plus I like the fact they have more apps I can use then what is offered on BlackBerry App World. However my Tour will still be in my family because I am going to give it to my dad since he wants to swtich from his BlackBerry World Edition, so for him the Tour will be an upgrade.
I saw an app described that allows you to quickly switch pages on the iPhone, but I can't seem to find what it's called now that I'm wanting to download it. Anyone know what I'm looking for? I know kirikae can do something like that, but I thought there was an app solely dedicated for this purpose.
I notice that if I put a little bit of pressure on my iPhone 4S switch, I can move it a bit which shows the 'orange' strip but the phone wont actually go into vibrate mode.
I got a white iPhone 4S Factory unlocked from the Apple store in US 2 months ago, and I am currently in India.
I seem to have a hardware issue on my phone. I am unable to switch off my phone. Every time I switch off, the phone turns back on in less than 2 seconds. How can Apple make such a device which turns defective within two months?
I called up the support number in India, and they helped me restore the phone a couple of times. (With apps, without apps etc), did no good.
