May 13, 2012Face time will not switch on - I go to settings, select FaceTime and switch it on only to find that it immediateky returns to OFF. I cannot make FaceTime calls.

Mar 15, 2012It seems that my iPhone 4 has decided that it wants to randomly switch of iMessage and Factime at random points during the day. This has only happened since the os 5.0.1 upgrade! I have not reset it because i have heard that this does not work! I have tried just using my phone number, then just my apple id account, then both together on the settings for both, but it is still randomly switching off.

May 9, 2012I have an iPhone 4s (Verizon). I had recently purchased what was described as an OEM screen plus LCD after I had cracked my factory screen. After replacing the screen and LCD such features as the side volume controls, vibrate switch, and proximity switch (dimming after accepting a call) have stopped working. I double checked to see that all of the connectors were pushed on correctly and they were. Is it possible this may not be an OEM screen and causing the problem or is there a piece of the hardware that I may have damaged that controls all of these functions (i.e. motherboard)?

Apr 9, 2011So of course there's switch mode from work and "play". I have this issue where when I switch from one the theme changes and if I switch back the theme doesn't change. May 14, 2012I have been using my sım free iphone 4 for 10 months. I upgraded it to IOS 5.1.1 on 10.05.2012. After installation I used it 1 day.At that time the screen locked 3 times and at last time I pushed to sleep/wake button to change locked screen to normal screen..At first pushing secreen changed to black but after that I couldn't not switch it on the phone again. A few times I already tried to push and hold the sleep/wake and home buttons at the same time nearly 1 minute but nothing has changed.

Jun 7, 2010after watching the promo video I noticed that is stated both caller and receiver have to be on wi-fi to use Facetime. Ok doesn't that really avoid having the ability to chat via video anywhere as advertised. Now when I am on business trip I have to hunt around for wi-fi just to use FaceTime so what is the video chat really gaining me?

Aug 10, 2010Hey guys I have a question. Me and my cousin both have iPhone 4s, both jailbroken and both have my3g. But everytime we use FaceTime with eachother the call only lasts exactly 1 min. It's very weird. Does anyone know the problem. And we have tried it many different. Times and at one point even in the same house and that lasted 58 seconds. It just says FaceTime call failed.

Aug 25, 2010Too bad the jailbreak is gone for new iphone's used 3G unrestrictor on a 3G facetime call today. It worked as good as wifi. Well, plus I am still on the unlimited plan. so I suppose that people would not use it then. But, why do they limit such a great feature of the phone. Plus it needs to be opened to Skype, etc. then people would really use it.
