Oct 27, 2010My N8 keeps connecting to OVI Store via WAP when WLAN available. Not only is WLAN available, it is connected and #1 in the list - checked via Connection Manager.
The Browser etc. has no problem - uses WLAN as expected. I can't find anywhere to set the OVI Store access priorities - I assume it's supposed to use Connection Manager?

May 19, 2010I cant get the ovi store to work. If i uninstall it and reinstall it works but the second time i open it it hangs after the connecting screen (phone doesnt hang, just nothing happens).

Sep 20, 2011I have noticed something strange since updating to Anna and the new version of OVI Store application (2.12.042). When I launch the application with 3g connection (over Orange) the application connects to the store without any issues at all. It now has an "Orange Selects" button, which I assume means the application has recognised my sim card as the phone is an operator free version.
The problem is that when I launch the application at home, it attempts to connect via Wi-Fi and is unable to connect to the OVI service. All other internet over wi-fi works fine.

Apr 17, 2012I followed the unlocked instruction from AT&T to restore my 3GS iPhone from factory settings. After completing restoring, follow the steps to set up the phone and stuck at activation screen. I inserted AT&T SIM card and connected to iTune but still failed to activate with following error message on iTune: "There is no SIM card installed in the iphone you are attempting to activate. Please disconnect and insert a SIM card in the iPhone." I have retry several times (including disconnect and reinsert the sim) but no luck.

Jun 16, 2010Anyone have similar experience? I preordered 2 16GB Blacks on @ 5:15am yesterday. I received email confirmation on both Apple IDs I used, however, my store (Oak Brook, IL) does not show my reservation on the main website, but does confirm my reservation on the iPhone App? Is this sufficient backup to secure my phone on the 24th?

Jul 13, 2010So I come home today to see four emails from PayPal from the four payments that have been made using my App Store account, totaling $449.95. I call Apple immediately and after being on hold for nearly 50 minutes with them trying to figure this out, I'm told my App Store account is going to be closed and that they cannot reverse the charges, so I need to file a dispute with my bank (or in my case, PayPal).
I called PayPal and they did not sound very confident in me getting my money back and said Apple should be the one reversing the charges. They guided me through filing a dispute on the charges and said that is the best they can do.
Am I screwed out of my money? Here is a screenshot of what the charges were made for (there is another $49.99 charge that is not showing up here, but appears in my PayPal account history):
I never downloaded or purchased "Zynga Live Poker", nor did I buy any of the credits for the game.

Apr 21, 2012My husband's iPhone 3GS isn't connecting to our wifi even though the network is showing in his list of networks. Both my iPhone 4s and my son's iPod touch are connecting ok. I've switched his wifi on and off, switched the phone on and off and reset network settings but it is still not working. In my wifi options our network has a tick against it but on his the processing circle thing is against it.
