I dont have bettery back up and whatever photos i am taking from my phone is not getting store in memory card as well as device memory.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHow and why is this? I personally am worried by this myth/maybe fact because I do not feel that my iPhone 4 is experiencing tremendous battery life, and I did restore it from a backup on my old 3G. Now, if this actually were the issue.. when Apple releases the next iOS update, 4.0.1 or 4.1... would this then fix the issue as it's new software being installed to override the old?

View 2 Replies View RelatedAs the title states backing up all the photos on my phone seems to have a great effect on the battery, and this is not the first time this happens to me. First the battery on my old Galaxy S3 was ruined just after I installed Google Photos and backed up all my pictures.
This time on my LG G4(H-815) I used "QuickPic" to backup photos to "Cm Cloud" of course it drained the battery during the backup but it did not get well after the backup. I uninstalled the app and did every trick possible to save battery but still nothing.
I used to get 4-5h of Screen on Time even with 4g+WiFi and now I can barely get 3h SOT with Wifi and 2h on 4g.
I got BH-109 BLUETOOTH black colour from SpiceHotSpot, New Delhi. India. I faced a problem of battery backup. I got it replaced from retailer after 10days but I found the same probem in the second piece which belongs to the same lot i.e, April'2011. Either the lot is effective or the product is effective??

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Motorola RAZR v3xx. Until about a week ago I could charge it from either a wall charger or USB port. Now it will not take a charge from either. It will power up when connected to a power source, but the low battery message stays on and it beeps. This is a good reminder that I'd like to back up my data in case my phone is ever lost or it breaks.

Also, does anyone know if this is covered under the Verizon Warranty?? I would appreciate any help ya'll could offer me! Thanks so much!!!

Trying to do a backup in anticipation of iOS 4 and the backup process still is taking a long time in 9.2.Also, what steps can be taken to increase the speed of the backup? How would you remove items like photos, music, videos and then be able to easily put them back on the iPhone?

I have lost ~20 pictures I took during my family's 4th of July event this weekend. It was the first time they have met my 17 month old daughter. Normally I wouldn't sweat loosing pictures, but these are very important to me.It restored every picture up until the backup I did before I left Sunday morning. I have tried A few different backups, one I made before I erased and synced my phone(new computer, old one was my work computer, no access to it).
View 9 Replies View RelatedI backed up my iphone to my computer before going to Apple Store where my phone was replaced. Once home I synced up and my apps were restored but not the pictures and video.
Are they there or were they not backed up? If they are there why weren't they restored and what can I do to restore them?

I have been backing up an iPhone 4 to iCloud for a while. I then purchased a new iPhone 4 as the old one was damaged, and set it up as a new phone. I haven't got around to setting up icloid backup yet. I now realise I want some data from an app in the old backup. Here is what I propose to do:
1. Backup new iPhone to iCloud
2. Restore new iPhone from old backup
3. Use the app's 'Email me my data feature' to get a copy of the DB
4. Restore new iPhone from new backup
Clearly I can only do this if during step 1 it doesn't overwrite the old backup. Can I have two separate backups?
I just updated to iOS 5.1.1 on my 3GS phone, previously using 5.0, while plugged into the computer and iTunes 10.6.3. I had the phone set to backup to iCloud, and ran a sync operation before updating.Does that not also create a backup? When the restore process began, it asked if I wanted to set up as a new phone or restore from backup. However the list of available backups did not have anything from today. The last one listed was from October 2011.So I cancelled that operation, went through the new phone setup and then it asked if I wanted to restore from iCloud. So I chose the most recent iCloud backup which was from around 6 AM this morning. Now it is in the process of downloading all my apps, pics, and perhaps music as well. I don't know but it's going to take HOURS to finish this.
Anyway I opened some apps that have already downloaded, and some app data appears to be intact. But other apps have nothing after October 2011. And I'm talking apps that have tracked my fitness and workout progress over the past 6 months, bike rides in the past few months, car fuel fillup and maintenance history since October, I'm talking LOTS of data that appears to be gone. What did I do wrong here? Did I not do what I should have done regarding backups? What is the point of backing up to iCloud if it's not going to back up all my app data?

I have a 4s 16gb. I am unable to run the update to iOS7 as I cant back up my phone. So I dont have any access to facetime and some of the new apps. It says it is too big to back up to icloud and then when I plug it into my (new) laptop it is asking me to connect to the original backup PC which is no longer in existence?Â
How I would do this as looking to get a new iphone5 handset but need to back everything up before I can get new handset and restore?Â
I have Windows 7 installed and have seriously tried everything to fix this, deleting old back ups, cheacking my firewall, unintalling and reinstalling itunes, deleting pictures that may be corrupt. I just plugged my phone into a USB connected to my sisters MacBook and it backed up perfectly! Is this something wrong with my computer?

I reflashed all the factory images to my Nexus 6P (except userdata), and then restored a TWRP backup of the data partition. This worked, my phone boots up and obviously has my installed apps, etc. But... on the Nexus 6P when you restart the phone you have to enter your lock pattern or PIN. My phone was previously configured with a pattern. It seems the TWRP data backup didn't backup the lock pattern, because it doesn't recognize my pattern.
My fingerprint is recognized, but on the Nexus 6P you still have to enter the lock pattern or PIN when you first reboot. So, I have no way to get into the phone. I tried setting a new lock screen password with Android Device Manager, but it doesn't work. I still get the screen asking for the lock pattern. Is there any way I can get into my phone without blowing away all the data?
I did a normal backup and just before it finished, a message came up saying the DM could not backup one Theme. I clicked OK and then it comes up with another message and it says Backup completed ... click OK .So is it just one theme that's odd and not being backed up? (which I don't mind) With (hopefully) the rest of my stuff backed up as usual.
