IPhone :: Why Won't Photo App Work After The Ios 5 Update

After doing to ios 5 update on my iphone last night, all my apps came back, and my contacts, but I lost all of my photos and videos. No.....they are not on my synced computer...I already checked....they are gone. I think it was probably my error so I'm willing to take that loss even though it stinks. The problem now though is my photo app won't even work! I cannot open the photo app no matter what I do...it just closes automatically as soon as I touch it. I can still take a pic with the camera app, but then where is that photo going? I can't open the pics up through the photo app OR the camera roll either. They are just disappearing after this update and it's irritating!!

I have never had any issues syncing my photo albums to my iPhone from iTunes until the latest iTunes update. As soon as the iTunes update (10.6.3) was completed, I plugged in my iPhone (5.1.1) and got an error 1140 message (I tried several times, including after restarting my computer, with the same message appearing every time). I later realized that in the "photos" tab in iTunes, "all photos and albums..." was checked (prior to the update, I had selected several albums as I do not have enough space on my phone for all of my pictures). However, I cannot select the "selected albums, events, and faces..." as it is greyed out.

enever I try to upload photos through the built in photo uploading app (it doesn't matter what service I try to upload to) the photo fails to upload, giving an "Upload error" notification. When the notification is clicked I get the following error: "Can't send response now. Data services are unavailable."I've seen some people mention doing a full factory reset (on other Motorola DROID phones) and this possibly fixing the issue, but I would definitely like to avoid this at all costs.

I have 10 albums that I sync to my iPhone. I have a specific photo that I have saved as "0" so that it's first when I sync, creating a cool album cover. However, since the recent iTunes update, when I sync photos to my iPhone, it sync them out of order and sometimes creates duplicates. Occasionally, some photos are in the wrong albums.
I unchecked all albums, synced, then resynced with the albums checked, hoping that putting them back on fresh would help, but it doesn't. Incidentally, if I sync 1 album only, they sync in the correct order with no duplicates.

Now that ICE CREAM is installed, I tried to use the Edit feature in the Gallery, but I get a Error Message "Photo cannot be loaded".
The Slidleshow Crop and Set Piciture as functions work ok, but the EDIT photo is not working. ge the Edit function working.

So I finally set up my photo stream. For about 24 hours it was working. Now when I take a picture it does not save to the photo stream album on my phone. It says that the Photo Stream is ON but it doesnt seem to be working.

I updated the Google Photo app last night as it has been pushing me to update and wouldn't work until I did. After the update, all of the previous photo edition options are gone (i.e. HDR, Dramatic, B&W, all of the vintage and frames, etc.) The only options available now are Auto, Light, Color, Pop and Vignette under settings and then when you pick the landscape picture icon, you have things like Mars, Phobos, Saturn, Ariel, Venus and Pluto. They just change the color of the pictures, don't add any effects.

I first noticed the MSN News app falling into this state last week, returning error code 0x8103010D. Then OneDrive uploads of my photos stopped working a few days later and now I can't view existing photos on my phone because "there is no application installed for this file". Store update attempts generates error 0x80070019. I can still take and even email photos via File Explorer but I'd like to get the app working again.

I connected my iphone to itunes this morning and itunes popped up that my phone needed a update, No biggy i thought lol. After the update my phone went to the start up mode, Where it asks you if your english and if you are in the uk, then it asks you to connect to wi-fi, "No probs" so ive asnered all its questions and connected to wi-fi and the it says "It may take up to three minutes to activate your phone". So i wait awhile, then it comes up with "Your iphone could not be ativated because the ativation server is temp unavailable, Try connecting to itunes to activate it, or try again in a few mins. if the problem persists contact apple support" So i connect to itunes and itunes comes up with " Your phone has no sim in, please disconnect and insert sim and then reconnect" my phone has the sim in, but i take it out and clean it and put it back in and it comes up with the same thing ?

Today I updated my Iphone 4 to 5.1.1, now it just goes to start screen (showing me the apple logo) then it goes black and it restarts to do the same.
If I take it off the power charge cable nothing happens, even if I press the two buttons together.
The phone has full batter power, it is only after this 5.1.1. update that something has happend.

I own a Samsung Galaxy S-5, and after a Samsung software update (performed on February 13, 2015) all of my pictures in my Gallery under my camera tab have disappeared. I called Samsung and they had me search the phone in several places to look for the pictures with no luck. Has anyone lost pictures after an update? How to find my photos? I did not have auto-back up on, but I do now.

I have music and photo files stored on an SD card. I could play the music and view photos OK before ICS update. After ICS, the music files on the SD card didn't play. If I copied them to the internal memory, they worked. Gallery photos on SD card had multiple copies and would not swipe from one to the next. When viewed with XOOM attached to PC, there were multiple copies of everything. but only one copy of each if viewed in file manager, or by plugging SD card directly into PC. I found on other forums that I can clear the media storage and the files will play properly. However, after I restart once or twice the files are corrupted again. Is there a permanent fix for this problem? Is Google/Motorola aware of this? Is a permanent fix planned for a future update?

Just "upgraded" my Palm Pre for a iPhone 4 and going crazy trying figure out how to move my pictures out of the photo roll and into different albums. From what I have tried it seems making different albums only tags the photo but doesn't actually move it. Any suggestions as to how I can have pictures in different albums without them staying in the photo roll also? Do I need to use an app to be able to do this?

I updated to iOS 4.0.1 from 4.0 and now I cannot get on wifi! anyone else having this problem? I already had updated to 4.0 but when I updated to 4.0.1, I think wifi was working at first then all of a sudden it just dropped the wifi signal and now it won't find it, I have tried everything including typing the name manually - this happened last night, I tried restarting phone several times and I'm using the wifi right now on my MacBook Pro and my roommate has 3G iphone w/ver. 3 software and has no problem getting on wifi this is a PROBLEM since I barely get 0-2 bars at home!

i upgraded to ios 5.1 yesterday and now my iphone 4 will not output any video to my tv screen. the problem is that i am using the phone to do some training demos because it was easier than carrying a laptop. is this a bug that will be fixed? the video out worked with netflix, itunes, the video app and Internet up until i updated the ios.
