the jailbreak still has some more work to go before it is released. hopefully it can't be done through safari so won't pose a genuine security risk (like jailbreakme) to the device but done through the computer like the other jailbreaks

View 1 Replies View RelatedI can set up my account and send/receive emails with no problem using either pop or imap, the problem I have is trying to then modify the 'Server Settings' to set the 'delete from server' option under 'incoming settings'. When I select 'incomming settings', username/password, 'done', nothing happens, I'm just returned back to the original settings screen that I originally selected 'incomming settings' from. What is also suspicious is the option for 'outgoing settings' is not listed at all, when I look at documentation the option for 'outgoing settings' is there under 'server settings' but not on my phone it's not.

I'm having a strange problem with SMS on my M One 9. My phone suddenly started generating error messages about an outbound txt did not create. The message is:
122 Error Invalid Number
The number that the txt is trying to send to is +1121611611 (I believe country code 112 is Belarus).
Where this number came from nor did I create the message. Sounds like a hack. The message attempts to send itself periodically. I've tried deleting the whole thread but it comes back.
When i check for updates n my galaxy s5, it says operating system has been modified in an unauthorized way. whats the problem...
View 10 Replies View RelatedBought my E52 back in October and been generally pleased with it (besides the buggy m4a support in the music player) until now. But now it's clearly not working as it should.In the past 2 weeks it's been very unstable and been crashing a lot. It took a while until I realized it was the summer heat that caused it, but it's impossible to use the phone outdoors on a warm sunny day or on the upper floor of my house (where it gets very warm), while it works fine down in the basement where it's cool.I think it's a major design flaw of the E52 and now I'm curious how common this issue is, have anyone else had this overheating issue?

With froyo, it was instant, now I have to wait 10 mins to close to an hour to receive the email notification. Even if I go into the gmail app and push 'refresh', it does nothing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my Nokia C7-00 to Belle Refresh thinking that the update will sort out all the little glitches found in Belle. Only to discover that my C7 slows down to a crawl when the phone check for email or is busy accessing the internet. Also I have noticed that the sleeping screen application seems to be completely out of sync. When I press the menu button it takes a minute or so for sleeping screen to respond and then I have to wait a minute or some until the unlock responds on the device.

Battery draining @ drastic rate ever since I started using the great Xperia mini pro. Hardly a backup of 13 hours.Even tried to turn off 'accounts & sync' but no help.
When my turbo is paired to a device and either streaming or just playing music or video it becomes extremely laggy. To the point where it freezes and will not work. Often times this happens while simultaneously charging the phone but its not exclusive to that criteria. It's done it while off charger as well. Is this a heat issue? Too many things going on at once?

When the phone doesn't have a good signal or is trying to pick between wifi & cellular, my Turbo lags & temporarily freezes. I just have to wait a good 30 seconds or so for it to free up. This happens constantly. It's gotten much worse lately.

I ended up uninstalling Norton but having gone through all the steps and downloading the files my PC does not get past 0% on "Firmware upgrade progress" and the mobile just displays a little green android with the message "Downloading . . . This is the second time I've encountered this issue with the Entice W766 and am wondering just how common the problem is. The first time I encountered the problem was a few months after I bought the phone. My phone went from holding a charge for 3 or 4 days to holding a charge for less than 24 hours. Verizon was able to reproduce the message in their store and, in the end, I ended up with a replacement phone. Fast forward to today, over a year later, and I'm having the same problem all over again... unauthorized charger... phone not holding a charge after most charges. I seem to get a good charge about one out of five tries. It's all Motorola branded gear.Better yet, is there a fix for it that doesn't involve going to the Verizon store and begging for a new phone?

The vast majority of my Skype contacts are fine. I can Skype Instant Message them with no problem.
However, there are a couple where when I try and send an IM, I get the message:
messaging_fi_unable_to_deliver_message_contact_unauthorized
I have tried removing the contact (from both my and the remote contact's Skype), and I've readded from my N900 and asked for authorization, and its been accepted, but I still get the error message when I try and IM.
When the remote contact IMs me the message never turns up, but they don't get an error message.
I've also tried it the other way around, where we delete the contacts on each other's Skype, and then the remote contact has asked for authorization, and I've accepted on the N900 - but still the same message.
The remote user us on Windows 7, using Skype 4.2.0.169. It has worked previously, but all of a sudden, it stopped for no obvious reason. This is happening with two of my contacts, who are in two different locations on different versions of Windows. Oddly, Skype voice calls work okay!
I can IM all my other Skype contacts no problem.
The audio source option seems to have disappeared from my Iphone4

I have a problem with my iPhone 3 GS. I have bought it two years ago. Since december 2011 a have a problem with it. Whenever it is stressed (loading websites, opening an app, searching network, sending an imessage,...) it simply turns off. I am not able to turn it on without connect it to power source. The display is black and if I try it to turn on there is the apple but then it turns black again. After a few failed attempt there is the simbol of no battery again (before turning off there was enough). Then, after connectet it, it turns on and behold there is enough battery again, for example 60%.

(Windows) I have tried all the available troubleshooting measures. so please do not link me to the 3 standard trouble shooting websites Also my iPhone4 does appear in my iMac's source list. (Mac)

When I plug in my iPhone 6 Plus to the USB and connect as iPod, I cannot play music I've selected through my vehicles infotainment system. I have a 2013 Honda Accord. All previous versions of iOS have worked almost flawlessly in this car and my last one. However, since purchasing the iPhone 6 Plus, I have had nothing but problems with using my car as an iPod connecting to the audio system. Sometimes it just says "loading"... this flashes back and forth, but it never loads. Other times, it will load, and I can browse my music and podcasts.
However, when I select a song, it will not begin playing. I can go to the "Now Playing" section of my Music app and see that the song I had selected has been chosen, but I have to click the play button on my iPhone to make it play. I have Siri Eyes free, and it construes to work. However, Siri seem to be getting less useful all the time. This whole issue has really got me upset. I paid $1,000 for this phone. It is supposed to Just Work.
I assume it is a software issue; I wish the would get around to fixing it. I, personally, find this unacceptable. This is a core function of the phone. I don't really care about health apps... Apple Pay is cool... but they should not do a single thing that messes up the core functions of the phone. Being able to connect to my car and listen to music is why I paid Apple's ridiculous price to upgrade to 128 GB or RAM. This is like upgrading the software and not being able to make phone calls for 3 months until they finally release some random software update.
i was on instagram and i was texting one of my friendsand then i went downstairs it was perfectly fine when i left it in my room. Then i came back up to check instagram again and it wouldnt turn on. This had happened before but it came back on after like 1 hour but i really need my phone. Even i plug it into the charger it wont come back on i had at least 60% of battery when i left it. What should i do?
