I have iphone 4 mobile with IOS5.1. when i was trying to copy a movie from my laptop to my IPhone through itunes, i'm getting the error as mentioned below. refer the below details about the file i'm copying.

I was given a copy of fast 5 which was a bluray with dvd and also digital copy.
I selected the digital copy to be in iTunes rather then Windows Media Player since figure more chance of viewing in future if I get a iPad or something.
So it downloaded to my iTunes put it in my movies section, then I connected my iPhone to iTunes and click sync Movies and made sure it was selected.
But now I get a error message stating "Fast Five was not copied to the iPhone "Lanky71" because it cannot be played on this iPhone"
I'm using a iPhone 4 with current iOS 5.1.1 with iTunes v10.6.1.7

Tried converting multiple programs over multiple files spending multiple hours with no result. Every time I try to add to iPhone 4, it says "the file can't be played on this device"(or something like that!)

I rented my first movie from the android market today. I downloaded it to view offline. (I haven't had a chance to play the movie yet.) Have to charge up my phone. I was wondering were the file is stored. Neither the internal memory or SD card appear to have used up any space after the download. I know it downloaded, because my data counter widget indicates over 1.5 GB downloaded by the video app to view the movie. (I bought an extra SD card for the purpose of downloading movies so to not take up space.)

In some emails with images that have hyperlink, I just see a link and images not displayed. All the images comes as an attachment in the email. My friend having another BB Torch is able to view emails as HTML. But he is with BES.
Is there any solution for my issue? I am not receiving any options in the email preference to enable HTML format for emails.
i have a nokia 5800 xpress music latest firmware (40) and everything, but latley when i get a normal SMS from someone (i know the person gotten messages from him before), it tells me Unable to open: message format not supported. however the message shows in the in-box (the first few words or so, after the senders name) and if i go to a previous text and then click the arrow (or the pound key) that takes me to the next text, it'll open fine.. it kinda **bleep** me off i tried restarting the phone didn't help

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've gone ahead and bought a 8GB Sandisk card because I don't want to be limited on the amount of music I can put on my player at any given time.For the most part the thing works(ed) like it was suppose to. Dragged over all my Media files from my 1gb and things have been cool ever since.Now while I take good care of my BB Curve 8320, it takes the odd fall here and there. Never enough to damage or mar the screen and these falls have happened WITH the new 8GB card inside.....up until today, when it took a bunny hop of a fall...and now the card is "Unreadable and needs formatting"
WTF? I'm all ready to format it, but whenever I try doing so using the Blackberry...it freezes. Whenever I try doing it on my computer...I get no response. I heard someone said to put it in the big SD adapter thing and try using it on a comp and formatting it there...I'll have to search for a comp with an SD drive to get that done in a bit...but incase that doesn't work...Do I have any other options?
This is absolute crap..when I opened the BB to see if the chip was dislodged, it wasn't...the BB won't read it now...it reads the other 1gb quite fine but not this one....and living in a third world country It's not like as is I can bomb over there and get another card for a decent price as opposed to purchasing a severly marked up one here. Has anyone ever had this sort of problem with any of the bigger model phones? I'm starting to think that this Curve thing is too 'delicate' for my liking.
I encrypted my memory card, worked ok for months. Today I showed a buddy of mine the encryption application, which asked if the memory card should be encrypted (encryption was already enabled). No Keyfiles/Passwords where asked for. The Phone crashed after that (hard reset after 5 hours). So the card is now encrypted, but there appears to be no valid key file on the device... So we have the usual issue: encrypted card, no keyfile or password.My problem is different in the following aspect: I don't want to recover any data - I just want to reformat the card and use my last (weekly) backup. However the phone won't let me do this. The following steps were taken to solve this issue without success:A complete Restore using the PC Suite does not restore any memory card contents or keys. The memory card stays "corrupted", encrypted and unwritable."Format Memory Card" says "card corrupted". Upon issuing the format request it says "Another application is using this memory card. Proceed" (which I confirm, as I suppose the crypto driver grabs the device) and then the program does nothing. It returns to the starting screen with "memory card corrupted".ReEnabling Encryption with a different key keeps saying that "No keys found", even after setting a new one. Sidenote: Even with a new key the card can't be formatted, as described above.The Phone was reset (using *#7370#, the 3+*+Green never worked on my phone) to factory defaults. Still the card was correctly recognized as encrypted and remained unusable as described above.Using a PC to format the memory card fails, as only the first 512kB appear to be writable (using dd under linux to write sequential zeroes). Despite writing this zero-dump, the phone still recognizes the card as encrypted, which implies that data on the card survived that crude zeroing attempt. Interestingly enough I can create a FAT32 Filesystem on these 512KB (not quick format), which appears to have no effect on the phone considering the card encrypted...The card is ok, since it was only removed after the problem occured. This must be an encryption issue. I suspect that the "Read Only" Password was set on the SD Card (hardware side, not E71 software) and hence all read/write operations are declined by the card.Is there any way to actually reset the encryption state of this card? As I previously said: I am not trying to recover any data, I just want a cleanly formatted microSD card..

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a small AVI video file (3.5MB) converted to mobile format (output profile reading "Mobile Phone MPEG-4 Movie..mp4") using Any Video Converter. With a view to copying the file to my E71 phone, I connected the phone to PC (Dell Studio 1558 system running W7 HP) via the USB (using the PC Siute mode in the first attempt and then the Mass Storage mode in my next attempt). I then proceeded to open the video file's shortcut menu and, in the Send To destinations, hit my phone's link that was being displayed as the E71 icon. But PC Suite reported inability to "copy the file". In the case of Mass Storage option too, the result was similar. Strangely, in several instances of my effort PC Suite was even found reporting that the "device has stopped responding or disconnected from PC" even though Suite's Home Page was showing my phone's icon as being in sync. s shortcut menu and, in the Send To destinations, hit my phone
View 3 Replies View RelatedThe memory on my phone's memory card was almost full. So, one day, I decided to copy some files from my phone to my computer. I connected my phone to my computer with a usb cabe, and my pc was able to detect the memory card and open files. However, whenever I try to copy files onto my pc, it gets 3/4 of the way completed copying and then the error message for an I/O error appears. Sometimes, it also says "the wrong diskette is in the drive".So then, I tried taking my memory card out of my phone (micro sd card) and plugged it into my computer (which has a built-in micro sd card port) and for some reason, it isn't able to detect the card and all of my pc's disk drives "disconnect" and I can't see them in "My Computer". I have to restart to get the ports working again.Flash Drives and other SD cards work, just not my phone's.So in conclusion, some problem with my phone or computer is causing an error that doesn't allow me to copy/move files. (I am running windows vista and my phone is the Samsung Memoir btw)
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
