IPhone :: Unable To Accept Invitations On It Using The Outlook Server
Apr 3, 2012
I am unable to accept meeting invitations from my iPhone 4G 16 GB. I hit accept and it closes like I accepted and I go back into it and it was like I did not accept. Checking my outgoing emails it sent an acceptance email but still shows pending me. Very frustrating because I am not being reminded of my meetings.
When someone sends me an invitation from an exchange/outlook account to my E7 email account I am unable to accept this. What should i do to enable this?
I recenly changed device from BB Curve 8530 to BB Bold 9900 and ever since then can't accept BBM invitations and Invites sent shows only as "Pending for Authorization" but recipients are not receiving them either. Tried sending PIN messages but I got a red x next to the message and the status says: "Service Blocked" .When my phone got lost, I was lucky that I just synchronized my device to my BB Desktop. Not only was I able to retrieve my contacts (phonebooks and BBM) but also ALL txt msgs and even call logs Anway, that happening, I assumed I don't need to re-send all my BBM friends invites since some were able to communicate with me. But for those who have deleted my profile (knowing it got lost) and were still on my contact were the ones affected. I tried deleting them and sent an invite only to find out that: I can't accept BBM invitations and Invites sent shows as "Pending for Authorization" but recipients are not receiving any. (they also have the same pending for authorization notice on their end) When I tried to send them a PIN message I get a red x next to the message nd get the service blocked message.
I have the latest version of Nokia email installed (v 3.20) but cannot receive *.ics invitations sent from the Outlook which I could before 3.05 version.
seemingly,(since last software update?) I am unable to accept meetings sent to me over my corporate (MS outlook) email.
the invite/meetings arrive fine , but when opened, the box to 'accept/ tentative, or decline won't hightlight or change, and the drop down doesn't do anything either. same goes for the reminder time? also, I can't reply or forward from the initial screen, but can from the upper right corner once the meeting/invite is opened (but still can't accept).
this is the same regardless of the sender, and they all open/function fine from my desktop.
I received a meeting invite via Exchange for work, I opened the notification and the meeting, but I can't find the way to accept, tentative, or reject it. Is this an Android bug or I'm just not seeing the buttons.
I am trying to set up my college Microsoft outlook account on my iPhone 4...I really need to set this up ASAP! I would really appreciate it if anyone could help. On Microsoft exchange I don't know what to put as the server or incoming/outgoing username?
I have successfully set up my hotmail account with no problems at all!
Settings: BB 8900 (replacement just delivered...and the problem below started) Device OS 5.0.0.411 Device Manager 5.0.1.37 Default Services: <my primary email> (I also have a second BIS email attached, but the CICAL for that one has been deleted.)
After struggling for days to get rid of the Device Default calendar (in addition to the calendar associated with my primary email and which is set as default under Default Services), I finally got my whole BB calendar on to the one calendar it should be on: the one associated with my primary email. And lo and behold, the Device Default disappeared. hallelujah, I thought.
Having cleared out the calendar using Device Manager, I then opted for a one way sync from Outlook to my new BB with its one and only calendar now, the calendar associated with my primary email and listed as the default under Default Services.....
I have accumulated over 1400 contacts in Outlook over the last 10 years. So, when I purchased my Droid 2 last year, there was no problem importing them into the phone with the exchange server. But, when the number increased above 1500, I noticed that the phone only accommodates 1487. note that I don't import contacts from other sources like Google or a social networking site.
I am seeing a problem when accepting Meeting Invitations on my iPhone or vice versa on my iPad.I get a meeting invitation on both devices. If I accept them on my iPhone they still show on my iPad as I have not accepted them yet. This can go in the other direction too.if I accepted them on my iPad first and they still show as not accepted on my iPhone. But, the weird thing is on the device I just accepted them on and in my Outlook calendar on my desktop they show up correctly (just not on the second device).
The other funny and weird part is if I go to accept them after the first time on say my iPhone (so, now I go to accept them on the iPad because they still show as not accepted on this device) and now I accept them on the iPad it will accept them.now the meeting invitations are sent back to my iPhone as not accepted. I can keep going back and forth with this. If I go back to my iPhone to accept them, then they show back up on my iPad (with red circle notification of x number over calendar app) as not accepted or like they are new invitations. So, I can can going back and forth with this and one device will always show that I have meeting invitations waiting to be accepted when I have already accepted them on one device.p.s. I have the latest iOS software on my iPhone 4 and iPad 2. This happened with 4.x iOS software too.
Info: iPhone 4, iOS 5.1, same on iPad 2 with iOS 5.1
I've upgraded my BB Bold 9700 (on Vodafone) to OS6 from OS5 and all meeting invites received now just appear as normal messages and not meeting invites. This means if I open the menu within the message there is no option to accept/decline the invite. This is the same if I open an entry in the calendar where I see the body of the calendar entry but the menu has no option for accept/decline.
When I was still on OS5 this worked perfectly and i was able to receive and respond to meeting invites. I've been through all the options that I can find on the handset and on BB Desktop as well but can't find anything that controls how calendar invites are received and processed.
The version number of the OS on the handset is 6.0 Bundle 2475 (v6.0.0.546).
I've been getting problems with my photo shared invitations. They just simply won't be sent to the people I choose from my iPhone 4s.
Also when someone send me an invitation, the notification appears on the activity tab from the shared photos, but then when I press "accept" a popup message appears saying "This photo album is not longer shared" and it doesn't sync the photos. I know for sure the photo album still shared as I had tried to invite me from my dad's iPhone 5s.Â
I've already tried turning on and off the photo sharing and photo stream options from the iCloud tab in the settings of my device, and I've even tried relaunching the photo sharing from the iCloud settings from my mac. I also turned off the iCloud service and then turned it on again, but it just doesn't work.
I've change my password as well, updating it on my devices and the problem persists. Â
Until recently, if I made a calendar entry (in any of the calendars shared with my wife) my wife would receive an alert on her iPhone and the Calendar app would show an invitation in the Inbox. The same thing would happen in reverse. Just recently, neither of us get alerts or invitations, although the new or modified calendar entry is synched across both iPhones. Neither of us aware of having changed any settings since this behaviour started. How can the notifications and invitations be restored?
Since upgrading to Gingerbread (2.3.4) on the Motorola Atrix I have not been able to accept/decline/tentative meeting invitations from my phone. Is anyone else having this problem? I do have 2 (multiple) Coporate Sync accounts setup where I am syncing calendar and email etc. I have not attempted to see if having one would make it possible. I can't accept the invite from the calendar nor from the email.
I just got my new Blackberry Bold 9000 and got everything migrated from my old Pearl and I have everything working good except the Blackberry Messenger. I upgraded it to 5.0.0.57 and all I get is the Blackberry Messenger License Agreement and it will not allow me to click on either button, ``I Accept``or ``Ì Do Not Accept`` .Is there something I`m missing or what.... This is very frustrating as it is my only way of communicating while I`m working.

I have tried to reset my iphone in itunes but it just say that i cannot connect to iphone-softwareupdateserver. I have tried alot of things, rebooting the computer, putting the iphone into recovery mode, changing the codes on the hosts so it says # 127.0.0.1 gs.apple.com.
I got my iPhone 4s about a month ago, and today am trying to sync my iPhone calendar to Outlook. It is not working from iPhone to Outlook, but Outlook to iPhone works fine.
After reading forum discussion, I believe the reason is because the salesperson set up a Google calendar (I have gmail). I would love to delete this calendar from my iPhone
I have tried setting the sync default to my regular calendar, but it still is not syncing... If only I could get rid of that Google calendar from my iPhone, I think I'd be in good shape!
My company just recently singed a contract with AT&T. Nearly all the employees were provided with Blackberry Curve 9360's. We use an Exchange Server (remote desktop)and Microsoft Outlook. Is there a way to sync the Curve 9360 with an Exchange Server (remote desktop) and Microsoft Outlook?
My BBM's not working i know that the networks not down or anything like that but every time I invite someone to it they do not get the invite and whenever they invite me I don't get the invite either, ive tried deleting and re-downloading and that does not seems to work.
Since upgrading email to the new microsoft outlook 365 platform i have not been able to send or receive emails on my iphone4, PCs are working fine but no response from iphone
