I have the iPhone 4s and Siri does't understand my voice . I don'T have an accent. I'm in Colorado usa. I tried speaking slowly or with regular speed, with or without background noise, to no avail. The words she thinks I'm saying are random names from my address book that don't sound anything like the actual words I'm saying?
I update to iOS 6 beta 1, some Apps doesn't work on iOS 6, so I restored back, eveything's fine after, but only siri's voice changed. Does anyone know how to fix Siri's robotic voice?
I have restarted my iPhone 4S to no avail. Siri does not even pick up my voice. I have tried de activating her and re activating her, but it didn't work. I also screamed at my phone so I am not too quiet. She seems to hear nothing. I have used her before with no Problems.
I recently restored my iPhone 5s and now Siri is using a very robotic voice. It's very low quality and unlike the human voice she had before. I've downloaded and enabled "Enhance Quality" as some people suggested, but it's not working.
looking at the ads for the iphone 4s and the siri program in particular, the US seems to have a female voice where my phone (UK) has a male voice which leads me to think other voices are available. Is it like the Tom-Tom where celeb voices are available to buy or a choice of several pre loaded to choe from?
The voice to text option is not working anymore on my iPhone 5s. When I press the microphone button and talk, it looks like it's processing but then just stops and never enters text. Siri won't answer either when I talk to it.
For the last couple days, my iPhone wouldn't dictate anything I say and Siri just keeps saying, "I'm really sorry about this..." I've had issues in the past but they would usually resolve themselves within a few minutes. The only thing I can really think of that's different is that I had AT&T change my iPhone number a couple weeks ago.
Or if not who would be the better resource, AT&T support or Apple support?
When Siri is on, each time I try to listen to my voicemail without going to speaker, Siri overrides the voicemail to beep at me. Is there a way to prevent this without having to go through settings to turn Siri off when I want to quickly listen to a voicemail, and then back to settings to turn Siri back on?
Quite often when I access voicemail on my screen, I hit "Play" the message, Siri opens up. I try and close it down and hit play again and it keeps popping open.I end up having to restart the entire phone. I am also noticing my voicemails are severly delayed in showing up as messages on my phone. Sometimes a few days later it will show i have a vm and when I listen to it, it was recorded 48 hours earlier. This is not consistent but intermittent.
In any other app on iOS i can click-and-hold the home button, or the "clicker" on my headphones, and I get the little "beep boop" of Siri. And I can say "what time is it?" or "call David."Â
But when I'm listening to a podcast in the podcast app, that doesn't work. It just doesn't. And it hasn't for 2 OSs now.Â
I loved to tell Siri to call my wife/spouse, write a message to my brother and so on. But since a few weeks, don't know exactly since when, Siri keeps telling me, that she doesn't find a phone number or email address for abc (where abc is the name of my brother, wife, child, etc) although my contact information is set in the Siri settings and all the relations are given to my contact.
As mentioned in the community, I've turned off Siri, reset my iPhone and turned on Siri again. I've deleted all relations in my contact and set them up again. Someone suggested to delete middle names from all contacts, but I'my not using middle names. So, nothing fixed the issue yet. Â
Maybe it's just the way I'm saying it, but I can't seem to get Siri to add a time to any reminders outside of the default list. Every time I try, she either adds it to the wrong list with the time, or to the right list without a time.
When asking siri to find a local pub or restaurant or maps it's says it can only find USA and under stand American voice when is the date when it will work in the uk, cause I don't want to get rid of my apple products got many apple devices and live them
I have a ringtone of a really nice-sounding gong that I want to use for my incoming SMS ringtone. Problem is, the phone won't accept it in MP3 (which is oddball, since I have seven custom ringers I made with MP3 that it accepted without issues!) or WAV. Or, after converting it to the QCP (QCELP) format, in THAT format.I really DO hate to be doing nothing but asking questions, but I'm running into some annoying problems here.
I have a Droid Global 2, and over the last 2 weeks, I've been experiencing call volume so low that I can't understand the caller. Checking the Veizon User Forum, I see theres about 100 people complaining about the same thing. Some people have had 5 replacement phones! Is Motorola working on a firmware fix?
