I came across the following problems whilst trying to update an address in my favourites list:
*Editing the address does not change the position of the place - i.e. I now have an entry that shows all the correct info for one location, but is actually pointing somewhere completely different! I edited my entry from the Homescreen search (which seems to take you through to Location>landmarks.
*In Maps, I can't move a place to the right collection (organise collections) There is no scroll bar so I can only access the first few collections!!!
*Trying to get around this using Ovi Maps on PC fails too - After selecting the right collection to move it to, the message "cannot connect to remote server" comes up. There is no problem connecting to the server for any other functions, but for this one it is persistent.
I then went on to plan a route:
*Using Search in Maps does not include (or allow you to select) results from your own favourites or history!
*When adding a route point you don't have access to your collections (only a raw list of favourite places)
*After clicking "Start driving" in a route, you can no longer access favourite places or history at all!
When I turn my phone from upright position to wide position the screen does not turn automatically even though I have set the phone to turn automate.

I found in one of horizontal segment of touch screen is not working even i am not able dailed sepcific number like7,8 and 9. Today i visited one of the service center in india as it is still in warranty period(will end on 21Sept2012) after having queries then he says that this center in only applicable for those IPhone who have purchased in india. It is quite shocking for me beacause i will not be visited sweden in in near future.

View 4 Replies View Relatedi have been having issues with my bb 9900 with regard to horizontal lines appearing on the screen. how do i get rid of them?
View 3 Replies View Relatedmy BB has developed a problem that has worsened as the hours pass by. It started with a horizontal white line at the bottom of the screen and this has now developed to the whole screen having the same problem so now it looks like it has a kind of whitish mask over the whole of the screen. I have removed the battery and then put it back but this did not work. Tried to switch on and off and no change.

Torch 9800 in March around 3-4 weeks later I started having a number of issues:When my phone is in lock mode I tend to check the screen by pressing the call end button..... sometimes when I do this it leaves one band of a horizontal white line (about 1cm thick) that appears across the screen. At other times when I have done the same thing the message that appears when you check in lock mode is. 'Screen is locked. Press the lock button to unlock' but in stead of saying the itThe final issue I have had is when I am on an app say Facebook, I close the app and it still shows the headings 'Facebook' and 'News Feed' on my home screen page and to get rid of it I have to open the option tray.I have already taken it into my network provider for them to send it away and have it looked into but I have now received it back and the problem still persists
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there anything like that?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI woke up this morning to find the screen on my Z2 to be very off colour with hundreds of horizontal lines consistently moving down the screen. I haven't damaged my phone in any way recently, why this is occuring.
Â
I would put it down to a hardware defect, however when my phone locks itself and I go the unlock it, or if I leave it for a few minutes, the screen will be fine for a few seconds or so, until it gradually fades to a white, then pinkish colour with vertical lines, and then blueish white horizontal lines will begin to move down the phone until it becomes quite impossible to actually use it. I've also just noticed that the lines get much worse when I'm actually using my phone rather than just staring at it idly, so it must be touch triggered or something?
Â
I've had this phone since around December after it replaced a lost one, and haven't had any issues so far. I would take it to the phone shop to get it repaired, but I know that will leave me without a phone for 1 - 2 weeks, which just isn't an option. I'd just like to know what the exact issue is before forking out £50 for a new screen.
They are very thin and extend almost the width of the screen. I assume this is some kind of screen defect, but it's pretty subtle. I'm considering waiting until WP8.1 comes out so I don't have to redo my start screen with a replacement unit. However, extremely small screen imperfections and maybe if they are normal for fairly large IPS displays.
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy Moto X's screen keeps acting strange, at least once a week. The screen is full of horizontal lines, and i can't see much, even with the brightness at the highest. Sometimes it's for a couple of minutes, sometimes for at least an hour. This time, it's been way pas 2 hours. I need to know why it keeps doing this (See Images). I thought it was due to the sometimes high temperature of the phone, but even when it's at a low temperature, it might happen.
This is when the brightness is really low:
