Jan 8, 2016So my LG G3 is almost a year old and recently it had an issue which started about a week ago, where it kept restarting every time I opened Snapchat. This gradually increased over time to the point where I got so frustrated I ended up uninstalling the app. However, my phone continued to restart which lead to me realizing that Snapchat wasn't the actual cause of the problem. So I did some research and came across different possible solutions but unfortunately none of them worked :/ One post I found suggested it might be the battery but I'm still not sure. Earlier today my phone restarted but on a loop and I ended up factory resetting it, which I hoped would solve the issue.

Jun 4, 2015Whenever I power off or restart my HTC One M9 on Lollipop 5.0.2 the screen icons reset to an earlier state. It's almost like something has stored the phone state and is restoring that state every time the phone is started or restarted.
It also changes in the icon groups on the apps screen. For example I have 4 BBC apps and I place them all in a group called "BBC". On restart the 4 BBC apps are no longer in a group and the group doesn't exist.

Jan 20, 2012I've just had to do a hard reset on my phone (was running extremely slow / not picking up email / internet browser running slow - need I go on). On restart all of my ringtones have "disappeared" - E.g. Trying to change any tone the phone tries to access the library by showing "opening", but it hangs. I have checked the phone using Nokia Suite, and the ringtones are no longer there.

Mar 14, 2012What does the "Reset Network Settings" option do? I found this suggestion under the "calls connection issues" topic and all it says is that it will "clear current cellular and Wi-Fi network settings, saved networks, Wi-Fi passwords and VPN settings" but doesn't go into any details of what happens next. Will the phone just automatically reassign the proper settings or will I have a dead phone? I'm on Verizon and have iPhone 4S, OS 5.1 The reason I went looking is because when I first got the iPhone in Jan 2012, I would have issues with calls going straight to voicemail even though my phone was on and showing strong reception. The phone wouldn't ring or anything and then I wouldn't get my VM messages until hours later. This would also happen with text messages. I didn't even know there was an issue, nothing on the phone indicated anything like missed calls or bad/no connection, and would only find out when friends told me or I'd listen to the VM. And it didn't happen all the time just every now and again.
So I had to call Verizon several times and on the last call they refreshed my network line, so I didn't have to do a phone wipe/reset, and that seemed to do the trick. But just today I discovered that now calls are just ringing, but not ringing on my handset. So I have to dial *832 to test the line, which passes, and then everything is fine again:calls come through, and all texts that were held in purgatory while this anomaly happens, come through immediately. So I'm wondering if resetting the network will solve my issue. Is anyone experiencing the same? BTW, yes, I've checked the most obvious thing, and no, I do not have my ringer silenced, off, or have the switch on red.

Apr 25, 2012I reset my iphone 3gs, erasing all data and contents. The process seemed to go as planned, but now I'm stuck with my phone showing just the apple logo,, nothing else.
The phone is not recognized by any of my machines, I've tried everything.
None of the buttons on the phone seem to do anything - I can't switch it off with the top right power button, not by pressing or holding it, it doesn't react to any other button or combination of buttons. It only switchs off by pressing the power + home combination.
I tried with the phone disconnected from everything, tried connecting to the pc, to power supply, no change.
Also tried the tips to hold buttons and than connect the usb, I think I pretty much covered any combination and solution I could find or think of, now I'm more or less out of options.
