Jun 15, 2010I'm a recent returnee to the Blackberry world, and I use a Gmail address as my primary address. I've noticed something, and this issue has been discussed in other posts, but not rectified to my satisfaction. If I delete an email on my BB, it does not delete on my Gmail account on a desktop or laptop. This can be incredibly frustrating. I tried using the Gmail mobile BB app, but it doesn't display HTML email, and my BB is used mostly for personal not for business. Maintaining an orderly email account is proving extremely difficult. I've had the DELETE ON: MAILBOX AND HANDHELD set both ways, and i've had the sync option on the MANAGE EMAIL ACCOUNTS submenu checked and unchecked, and it doesn't work any way i can set it.
It's a BB Bold 9700 on T-Mobile in the US.

May 9, 2010When I start the "BlackBerry® Desktop Manager" the "BlackBerry® Application Loader" is run automatically. It's a problem if my PC is not connected to INTERNET, since I can't stop it clicking on "Cancel" and the "BlackBerry® Desktop Manager" become hanged. Therefore, I can't use my device as an External Modem.
It is happening since I updated the "BlackBerry® Desktop Manager" to Version 5.0.1.37.I want to configure the "BlackBerry® Desktop Manager" to ask me if I want to run the "BlackBerry® Application Loader", in a manual way. But I have not found how to do it.

I've unistalled Destop Manager, reverted back to 5.0.0 and I still have the same issue. This was and is currently setup with my Outlook 2003 (SP3) exchange server to forward my work emails, and it worked up until I updated to 5.0.1 last week.

I've tried reinstalling the desktop manager already but still cannot find it, nor were there any options during the installation to include it.

Sep 16, 2012I buyed sony ericsson xperia mini pro few months back. at that time i synced my contacts with facebook with facebook app. And i got all my friend's profile pictures as my contact pictures. But now when i changed my memory card i also formated my phone. I took backup of contacts on sim card. after installing new memory card i imported my contacts back to phone and synced facebook once again with my phone contacts. This time they got synced too but their facebook profile pics are not becoming my contact pictures. I also tried enabling facebook inside xperia but still it didn't worked. I want to get them done as quickly as possible.

Mar 23, 2011I have a Torch 9850 and when I used to send pics to a friend through BBM they would get the option to preview, save or cancel; in turn, I would receive the same option. When I clicked "save" it would download the full 1-2MB version of the pic in BBM, saving it to my picture folder. Yesterday they bought the same phone (Torch 9850) and now when either of us send a pic, neither of us have the option or are given the opportunity to download the actual picture file?!? We simply get a low quality 30KB image with no option other than to go to the BB file menu and click "save" which saves not the full high quality image, but the 30kb one we just received.
