I just updated my iphone 4s to OS 5.1.1 The iphone is blocked when a call is missing. The only way to unblock is taking off the sim card. I never had any problem after updated the OS.

Iphone4s - because I use pass lock I cannot decline a call such as a blocked number. If I can't see who is calling then I don't want to answer it. But due to having my phone on lock - i can see its a blocked number but there is no option to decline. If i unlock my phone it automatically answers the call.

This question is not specific to the Nexus 6P, but that is the phone I carry. I add 2 or 3 phone numbers (telemarketers) to my blocked call list every week. When a telemarketer calls, I
(1) hang up,
(2) go to the call log,
(3) tap the call record to expand it,
(4) tap "call details", then
(5) select "block number."
That's all very simple.The issue is that now that I have dozens or hundreds of blocked numbers , when I miss a call, there's no easy way to see if the missed call was from a number on my blocked list. A missed call from a blocked number looks the same as a missed call from an un-blocked number (unless they're in my contact list). I can scroll through (but not search or sort) my blocked call list by
(1) opening phone app,
(2) tapping "Settings" in the primary menu, then
(3) tapping "Call Blocking."
This presents a list of all of the numbers that I've ever blocked, but I can't search it and I can't sort it.
in a perfect world, the Call Log would somehow show a flag for missed calls from blocked numbers so that I don't have to search the list to see if the number is blocked. In an even more perfect world, a tap on that number would take me to a detail page showing all the times that number has called and been blocked. Finally, the blocked number list would be both searchable and sortable. I think that most/all of this could be accomplished by a 3d party app - for which I'd gladly pay five bucks. There are lots of call blocking apps on the market, but they all appear to operate separately from the Android native call blocking function.
Recently I frequently receive the notification "Restricted access changed" along with "Voice call service blocked". I really don't know what cause such notifications and it is very annoying.

Moreover, when such notifications are received, the signal drops off at the same time. I can't make any phone call or receive any call.
I did update the firmware to 4.4, but the problem still exists.
Is this right or am I just missing this essential information? Where is the call duration - I see everything else?

The first update was O.K., but during the second one maybe I did something wrong and now the phone does not start. I remove the battery, start the phone, it vibrates but never starts - for half an hour. When I connect it to PC companion, it says that I should remove the battery, start the phone and connect it again.... The screen is dark, nothing happens.

My calls come in fine when my phone is awake, but as soon as it goes to sleep (whether manually or through auto-lock), it loses the FIDO connection and my calls don't come in. i just switched over to a new blackberry (my old one broke), its the same exact phone that i have had for over a year so i know what im doing with it. but when i loaded all of the stuff from my other phone onto the new one, the call log button dissapeared.

For some reason, it does not show missed calls in the call log. I can only see them if I have a missed call at the time, but once I exit the missed call log, I cannot view it until I have another missed call. I do not want them to appear in the messages folder either and the BB9700 does not have an option to View Recent that the 9000 has in call log view.

Once they are all deleted, i send acouple of message but when i check my message log, they are deleted again when i check. I know its not that my memory is full. I just got the phone and i dont have many files so thats not the case. Ive seen one come in because i was staring at my phone and saw i recieved a message butt right away it got deleted along with the messages i had there. i dont no if everytime i roam for a bit they delete or what but it is very strange to me.
