I just updated my iphone 4s to OS 5.1.1 The iphone is blocked when a call is missing. The only way to unblock is taking off the sim card. I never had any problem after updated the OS.
I bought my Xperia Ray, connected it to my computer (PC companion) and started updating the software of the phone. The first update was O.K., but during the second one maybe I did something wrong and now the phone does not start. I remove the battery, start the phone, it vibrates but never starts - for half an hour. When I connect it to PC companion, it says that I should remove the battery, start the phone and connect it again.... The screen is dark, nothing happens.
I have updated my iPhone 3G to iOS 4.2 via iTunes version 10.6.0.40 at the end I received the message: PIN code of your SIM is blocked, it is necessary installed a new version of iTunes and connect iPhone again What can I do?

My iphone 4s was stolen last night during a crowded bus ride. I got two locations on find my iphone from icloud, and now I have blocked my sim card. What I am not sure of is if the thief can access my apps, where bank details and my adress is stored?I have a passcode, but can this be unlocked(?), and maybe the thief saw me unlocking the code before they stole it. Not sure if I should press remote wipe or not, as London police told me they would not go to search the tracked address, as they don´t have resources for that.
Two nights ago I thought my phone 4 had been stolen so I had it blocked, only to find it the next morning. I unblocked it and was told it would take 24 hours to go back on. However I was able to use it after a couple of hours, sending texts, going on the internet and ringing people. Then yesterday all of a sudden I am getting no signal. People have text me yet I havent received any and when I try to ring someone it instantly says the call has failed. I've already tried resetting my network settings but that hasnt helped, ive also left it off for several hours.
I successfully blocked my caller ID when I received my phone (in phone>settings) but now that option entirely disappeared. What is there to do without completely resetting my phone? At one point I asked Sprint to unlock my phone and I was able to use it outside of the US. Now it's back to the US SIM and everything is fine except that the caller ID blocking/unblocking option disappeared.
Is there a way to backup or export the blocked contact list of my iPhone? I want to backup or export or transfer the blocked list from my old iPhone 4s to iPhone 5s. I know I can backup the whole content of the old 4s and restore it to 5s in iTunes but I got another blocked list in my 5s and I don't want to overwrite it.Â
I have a LOT of blocked numbers which I have accrued over the last 12 months from mainly marketing texts and other annoyances. My iPhone 5 needs its power button replacing as part of the Apple recall and I've been asked to wipe it of all its settings beforehand. I just wondered if all these blocked numbers are backed up in iTunes as part of the normal backup, or is there something else I need to do to retain them all? As I say I have dozens and dozens of these numbers so I'd like to get them backed up so I can re-instate them once my iPhone is fixed.Â
For the past year or so, I've "curated" a contact called "Spammers", adding 15 phone numbers and an email address for annoying bot dialers and text message spammers. The contact is Blocked. But for some reason, their calls are still coming through and ringing my phone. I've tried unblocking the contact and re-blocking it, to no avail.
Looks like ios4 has a bad bug. Data roaming can occur even when the option for DR is set to off.
First, my prob. Brand new iPhone 4 set up as new. On first arrival in foreign country, emails start to download, can surf safari, even though no wifi and DR set to off. Problem fixed by turning DR on and off again. Now DR blocked as required.
On a 3GS upgraded to ios4. Same initial probs as above butnpeob persists! Phone continues to download data in background! When safari activated, DR-off message appears but data still downloads. Only way to turn off the DR is to change APN settings.
to say it easy, "now i want to change my operator", i can restore it with a new SIM directly from iTunes?i have my iphone blocked to Telcel in mexico, but now i'm in France, can i buy a SIM card and restore my Iphone to use it legally with a French company?
I had my iphone 4 taken/stolen at a bar on saturday night - I called my provider and blocked the sim and IMEI - my question is.....with the IMEI block, could whoever has it look at my phone book (contacts) and contact my mum etc? I know they can't use my phone to make a call but could they at least get a number from it? Otherwise I'm thinking of calling my provider and asking them to unblock it so I can at least call the phone myself and appeal to the person's better nature. After all, they may have just been drunk and messed up. Yes I may be optimistic - apparently we're wired that way. I need to try something as my phone wasn't insured and I don't have the 'find my iphone' app on it either.
A ciminal is left with my iPhone 4, my sim card is blocked and the phone turned off... is possible to find it? with the IMEI number when the criminal will turn it on again and eventually with a new sim card?
my iPhone is blocked due to wrong passwords. I haven't used it for a while because I used a blackberry. Now I'm fed up with blackberry so want to use my iPhone again.
My iPhone says I should connect to iTunes but when I try it tells me the phone is blocked. What do I need to do?
