I'm wondering if this is a sowtware bug or not. I'm using a security code for iPhone block.
When the phone is blocked, after for example 60 seconds of non usage, I've seen I can shut down the phone.Â
This is a BIG problem when, for example I loose my iPhone, or someone stole it.Â

Since yesterday, it didn't work , I get my IMEI to a site, and it gives me a ten digit code that calls master code, and said if I enter this code instead of my forgotten code ( I didn't forget it,it didn't work) it will accept by phone. But when I enter the master code it says "code error" too. I tried to hardware reset , but when i hold 3,* & green buttons and turn it on, phone asks me "continue using the phone in offline mode? " (it asks since when i tried to enter deference codes for several times), and i should to answer this and press other keys instead of these 3 buttons, so it didn't work too, I opened it key pad and clean again,but it couldn't help.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have had my SG2 (On three with "all you can eat data") for about two weeks and the last week I keep getting a tethering block, several times a day, when using internet or network error while using apps. this can only be fixed by rebooting the phone. I have not used the phone for tethering or as a wifi hot spot so don't know why its doing it. I have replaced the sim card and done a factory reset on the phone but it is still doing it. When I get the error in the internet app there's a link to the three website which does work.

We just got our 3Gs's last weekend. This morning I checked some mail and came back to it a few minutes later.
All of sudden it would no longer power on. I know the battery was about 50% when I checked email. The phone has not been jailbroken.
Hooked it up to the PC (windows 7) and Itunes said it was in restore mode which I have no idea what this really is. Itunes said to go ahead an restore the phone.
I let Itunes start the process, but then Itunes gave an error code 28. I have no idea what this means. The phone has been flawless until this point.
Was given an iphone by a friend who said it weren't working anymore. Tried to get it into recovery mode to install IOS 4.2.3 (I think, anyway - doesn't show the version number now?) with iTunes 10.5.3.3 Went through the update process but then dropped out with error code 1015. From googling it seems that this is when a phone has been jailbroken... My friend bought this off someone a while ago and says the person who had it before did this with Cydia... and has only really used it as an ipod themselves so hasn't noticed anything. The phone still sits at the black apple logo screen.
