As well as the other stores not having any stocks of the iPhone 3G, today Apple updated their US store to show no stock of the 3G model iPhone. Also, O2 Ireland have no stock in Pay Monthly or Pay and Go of the iPhone 3G although do have stock of the 3G S as usual.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 3gs i want to sell that has 3.1.3 on it with jailbreak a la Spirit and unlock a la blacksn0w. I have apps and personal data on there, and did the SHSH blob backup of 3.1.3 to Cydia right before 4.0 came out. Is there any easier way to restore it to stock than put 3.1.3 on there again (I fear it will not be accepted or some error even though I have the "blob backup" a noobie in that department and just followed instructions from a dev's twitter). Is there an easier way to restore the phone to clean, re-JB and re-unlock? Maybe like manually wipe all contacts, photos, and apps (that should take care of my personal data, right)?
Also, only going to sell my 3GS if iPhone 4 is not unlocked before the end of the summer. I'm going to Europe in the Fall and if this isnt the case, I'll just be bringing 3GS with me .
I was wondering how much of a wait for the iphone 4. I was just at Bestbuy and they had 32gb in stock that i could get. But sadly, I wasnt able to at that moment. But plan to in 2 weeks, I was wondering if i was just luckily at bestbuy at the time they got a shipment in or if they fly off the shelves and are out of stock alot of the time.

I've been reading that its still possible to JB by downgrading to 4.0.1, however, you would need to save your SHSH blobs first. The problem is that this phone has never been JB'd before. So are the blobs specific to a firmware? Or are they just specific to your phone? Will it be possible to get the blobs using umbrella tool, then just download 4.0.1 pointing it to the cydia server then install and sign 4.0.1 that way? Or am i screwed for now?

i currently have an iphone 3gs with 3.1.2 jailbroken. it was manufactured in week 29 of last year according to my serial number. does that mean i have the old boot rom/non MC-model? i know 3.1.3 has no new features. the only reason i have to update is because my cydia/apt is screwed up and the only way to fix it is to restore. itunes will not let me restore my 3.1.2 without updating (yes, i tried the shift/option button thing).i just want to know if i upgrade to 3.1.3, will i be able to jailbreak with snow breeze?p.s. i know i can upgrade and downgrade using saurik's method, but that's just too much work.

The manager (who I was speaking with) said that they would probably get another shipment at the end of NEXT week. Can anyone confirm this with their local Apple store? I just received notice that the phones are in and I have until COB tomorrow (Friday) to pick them up. This was a no-committment on my part reservation - the Apple guy said pick them up if I want them, don't if I don't. I will probably just cancel these since I also and placed an order with AT&T on Tuesday. That order is supposed to be 7-10 days but now I'm wondering if the order from AT&T might come earlier than predicted.

I have been unable to get an update on the stock app. Last update was on 5/31/2012. It tries to refresh, but the spinning wheel icon is very erratic and won't refresh.
I have tried to update the software on both iTunes and the OS on the phone - both are current. I have tried tosync the phone several times - no luck. This appears to be the only app that does not work. The same holds true for my wife's phone.

She said "it looks like we have enough phones in stock for everyone in line now" or something like that. I'm wondering, for those who have waited in Apple Store lines, do they do the same thing? The HTC Evo has been out of stock on the Sprint.com website for a bit now.... anyone know when it'll be back in? Is it possible to delete stock android apps? I use Google hangouts for texting now, and I want to delete the stock messaging app. For now I'm just hiding it, also unchecked marked all it's settings. For some reason when I un-hide it, my messages from hangouts will be in the stock messages app.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHave been happily using the LG V10 for about a week now (I'm a convert from Note 3, after seeing Samsung neglected we users and removed the SD card slot and removable battery). Phone has performed pretty flawlessly except for one curious thing: I expect any apps that I open will stay that way until I close them or do a 'clear all'. That has proven true so far for all apps except for the stock Calendar app! I can open it and view it, then go work with other apps or invoke the lock screen. When I unlock the phone, all the other running apps are still available, but the calendar app for some reason has been shut down and I have to reopen it. This is very curious, and I never had that issue on the Note 3.
