Feb 17, 2010It seems that it's impossible to send configuration message via email.nokia.com, as there is no longer a link to "re-install" the email software.Now it only says "go to email.nokia.com with your mobile phone browser", and when you do, you do get to download the SW, but you don't get the proper configuration message, thus the email is set up in the "inbox way", which is **bleep**..

May 20, 2010I have a Bold 9700, After much arguing with Orange UK I finally got a new 3g sim (Am On contract but for 2g 8220 flip). Actually has 3g written on it this time.Anyway still seem not to be getting a 3g signal although I know 3g is patchy in my area but old N80 shows 3g icon but not work correctly as think not compatable with new Sim cards,Can anyone tell me what they have in there host routing table,
Is there any reference to 3g...All I have is about 10 references to GPRS UK (234) 234006301 (different #'s)Not sure if there should be but a starting point.

Apr 24, 2012I'm completely baffled by the fact that Apple actually in ways punish you for not having a credit card. I only have a barclays VISA debit card, and as a result when I try and complete the self service apple support & repair form, I go to put a hold on the debit card for the amount shown, (£16) and apple won't accept the card. Apparently 'Debit and check cards have daily spending limits which could substantially delay your order. Using a credit card ensures that your order will be processed as soon as possible.'However, Apple are more than happy to take my money from my debit card when I buy apps, movies music etc.Is there anyway that I can actually work around this without going into my local store - (lack of time, and it's miles away)

Aug 18, 2010I got my torch 9800 on launch day. i loved this device and definately felt like i was upgrading from my old device (iphone 3g). as much as i love the capabilities of the device i have run into a few issues, specifically network issues. it all started on sunday when all of a sudden i lost connection to the blackberry servers(the little logo in the corner was gone..) i went to at&t on monday and they could not figure it out. apparently my service book for the blackberry internet service got deleted(i didnt even know what a servicebook was lol) so i went home later that night and downnloaded the at&t software and reinstalled the os and this worked. then all of a sudden today, my fb was acting up, so i deleted the app. then i lost the connection again... do you guys have any idea what could be causing this? im currently reinstalling the os as i write this.

Mar 14, 2012I am without service after IOS 5.1. Since the upgrade, my phone can't make or receive any call. I bought it from my mobile operator (Claro Brasil) itself. The odd thing is that when I use the SIM of my brother (from another provider - TIM) the phone works perfectly. I called to Claro and they said everything is fine with my network and that they will open a procedure to see what can be done. I think they don't know what is happening and I can't wait much longer.
