I have aol mail and it is set up properly. The only way I know I have new email is when I go into the mail app and touch the refresh arrow. Then it loads. In addition, I do not get Badges, despite Badges being correctly set up in Notifications. Push is also on. I have the latest operating system.

I finally got around to setting up Mac Mail on my iMac today. My primary e-mail account is an @yahoo.com address. After setting up yahoo on the Mac Mail program, my iMac and iPad can receive new yahoo e-mails when they check for mail, but my iPhone not only isn't receiving yahoo mail when it checks for them, it will not fetch new e-mail either when I manually tell it check for e-mails. The only way it has received any of the new e-mails is after I shut down the phone and rebooted it. Again, everything was working fine until I set up Mac Mail today.

When i follow the troubleshooting on line it tells me to go into advanced settings and swithc the smtp server to on and then off again. Unfortunately when I get to that screen, its frozen, and wont let me move the sliders across.

The title pretty much sums it up - I have a client with a BB 8830 which isn't receiving e-mail from one single other person in their organisation (Unfortunately it's their assistant - the most important person for them to get e-mail from!). The e-mail system is a hosted exchange system, and they're set up with BES. They receive all of the e-mail fine in Outlook, but for some reason they're just not getting it on their Blackberry. Perhaps I'm phrasing my searches poorly, but I'm not seeing this issue anywhere else on the web. Can anyone point me in the right direction, or tell me what other information, if any, you might need?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been experiencing some problems with my blackberry 9300, when I receive an incoming email, the blackberry does not sound but the led works, other notifications like pins and sms and call ringing, does sound in the loud profile; I had made a lot of things in order to repair this problem, I have made a hard reset to the BB, I have tried to set again the sound scheme in the selected profile, I have changed the bb to others profiles and I have also take out the battery for some minutes and I have not make possible the bb sound again when I receive a email.

I have a yahoo email account that is forwarded to the blackberry device.My carrier is AT&T. I tried taking out the SIM card, taking out the battery etc. but nothing seems to be working. I receive e-mails that are written below in Norwegian every day. When I go into the e-mail on mobile phone brings up the yellow / green circle in the corner which I interpret as if everything is ok with connecting to hotmail. But that is not receiving e-mail. View 1 Replies View RelatedMy iphone mail app regularly requires restart to get mail flowing. That is it is running (doesn't crash) but will at time just stop getting email updates. I then have to force close the mail app (i.e. kill it) and then restart it. After restarting it the mail flows again.
Notes:
a) I do connect to Gmail for my mail - I'm using the IMAP facility for gmail currently (i.e. not the "Exchange" method)
b) I do also have the Google "Gmail" app running on my device too
c) on iPhone 3GS, latest version of IOS

When I'm out and about, I pick up my mail on my iPad and/or on my iPhone. I HATE having to sift through the duplicates. I know I can delete the emails from the server as they are being downloaded, and that would solve the problem between the iDevices. But I still want a copy of them downloaded into Outlook on my desktop for future reference, so deleting them from the server before Outlook gets ahold of them does not seem like a good idea.I currently have a POP3 account, but I could move onto an Exchange Server or into iCloud or something else if that would solve the problem.

This is really bothering me.I have a yahoo mail account set up on my phone - It has been on there for over a year - it has always worked this way - If I get an email (the phone goes "bing") and i read it on the computer - and responded and delete it on the computer it would be removed from the phone the next time i looked. Recently I began noticing that the message is not being delated from the phone if I delete it from the mailbox, and I can't figure out why.
Basically I want to be able to read the message on the computer and hit delete and for it do the same thing on my blackberry and vise versa. Now it seems to work if I delete the message on the BB then it will not be in the Mailbox on the computer.
I have following problem:on my N97mini i have installed MfE and it works. But when I receive an email and i read it in outlook or OWA the "new Mail icon" on my N97mini doesn't disappear. It shows that I have a new email but when I click on it there is no new email.The icon only disappears when i reboot my N97mini.

How do I fix this? It's absolutely unacceptable and I really hate to know who else now has my work e-mail address because of this. My phone tells me it sent from the correct e-mail address, but the address showing up in the e-mail where I received it says my work e-mail address was the sender.
If it was mixing up my gmail accounts that'd be irritating, but not a big deal - but the fact that it's just sending out of my work e-mail is a serious problem - does anyone know how to fix this?

So I try to add new Windows Live Hotmail account, insert login and password, but after that the system said that I inserted incorrect login or password.
I thought that Mail application can't see special symbols (#,!,...), but I have such problem for password with only small letters and digits.
I use the Gmail app my mail client, but I want to switch to the default mail client (the one that comes out of the box).
I setup the default mail client to handle my email, but how to I now disable the Gmail app so I do not receive double notifications?
If it matters I use google as my primary email account.
