Cycle it a few times (let it drain to ~5% and recharge). Replacement batteries are pretty cheap and easy to swap out, worst case. But considering it's still under warranty, Apple would probably exchange it for you if you could prove that battery wasn't holding a charge properly.
I charge my 5s phone at night, and about halfway through the night my phone starts to vibrate to notify me that it is done charging which is great but it constantly wakes me up as it goes on all night. is there a setting I am missing to turn this off? my wife's 5s does not do this nor does my son's ...
I just picked up the iPhone 3gs on Monday and have two questions that. Forgot to find out before I got the phone. I bought a white iPhone 3gs and wanted to know is the phone still plagued with overheating and discoloration problems? Second question I am wondering if I buy a mophie juice pack air a coupple of months would that negatively affect my battery on the iPhone. What I mean by this is I heard that aged four hundred complete charges and draining of the iPhone battery the phones battery only holds 80% of the charge it use to. My question is does using a charger help increase time it takes the iphont to reach 400 chargeres quicker than it would if I did not use the charger?
Just had a major transplant and so bought Iphone to use at home - will be too ill to go anywhere for a while. Totally dependent on a Wi-Fi signal from router. It works on someone else's router. It failed with the WPA key so I turned privacy off and it still fails. It sees my router fine, and there is a tick beside it. But I can't get Wi-Fi in top left.
When the iPhone 3g was released the iPhone 2g price was slashed in half...I was kind of expecting this to happen to the 3g now but by the sound of it if I went into the apple store tomorrow morning I wouldn't be able to purchase one at all...Anybody reckon there will be a price cut or is that just the end of them
There is a PM on the top left corner of my iPhone but it's only there when I'm on the home screen. And there is a big space in the right where the battery should be
so i was at my friends house and i left my phone in the sun to long and when i came to get it, it would not turn on but when i got home i plugged it in the charger and it still will not turn on what should i do?
Info: iPhone 4, i got apple car but lost the papers
I turned my iPhone 3G off on 3/7 and turned it back on 3/17 (today). I have unread messages from 3/14 to 3/17 but all of my unread messages (that people told me that they sent) from 3/7-3/13 are missing! Why did this happen? And can I recover them?
The Left speaker of my iPhone is not working.. Is there a way to correct it... Actually if I connect iPhone to aux in of my car even then the left speakers of my car also won't work.
I've had my iPhone 5 since April 2013. From the start I knew I'd have to accept that the battery was going to drain quicker than I was used to, but I was prepared to accept it due to knowing that I was getting a high quality phone.Â
Things were as expected until 3 or 4 months ago. Since then, if my phone doesn't get used for 3-4 hours it can go down 5-6% (as I would accept), however, when I am using it, it shoots down. I can go to work at 9, finish at 5 and have 80 odd percent left. By 6, once I've had some basic usage, it can be down to 50%. This is far quicker loss than I've experienced in the past. This has included dropping by 10-15% in one instant as has happened on numerous occasions.Â
A further issue is that my phone can be displaying up to 45% battery (the highest it's happened) and turn off when I'm using it. If I try to turn it on it says that I need to plug it into a power source. If I leave it 20-30 minutes then it will turn back on and say that I've got the amount of battery that I was supposed to have when I turned it off. If I use it to do nothing but check the time it stays this way, if I try to use any other function then it turns off after 30 seconds or so. Once I get it plugged in (from being 'dead') it will start charging from 20/30/40% (wherever it went off at).Â
Particularly if I know I'm going to be out for a while and won't have access to a charger. I can't base what battery the phone's telling me I have on what I actually have to use. I always close apps after I've used them, background app refresh is off, I only have wi-fi running regularly (no bluetooth, mobile data, 3g etc.)Â

What can I do to get this fixed? It's unbelievably frustrating. Particularly if I know I'm going to be out for a while and won't have access to a charger. I can't base what battery the phone's telling me I have on what I actually have to use.Â

The glass on my 3Gs is slightly raised in the top left corner. the other three corners are flush with the chrome bezel. the phone is only 1 week old never dropped or anything. is this normal?
Randomly and without changing any settings, my iPhone has started only outputting the left channel of stereo audio, i.e. when I play a song on it I only hear it through the left channel. I've tried different sets of headphones, same story. Also it has stopped responding to volume changes via the inline remote - play/pause still works...
My iphone is showing that I have no memory left. However, it is classifying the consumed memory as other? How do I find out what this is so I can try to get some memory back?
The left part of the screen doesn't work very well. It's hard to erase a letter, and impossible to me to insert the "P". Does it means that I need to replace the screen? Or there is a other solution?
