For the past month or so i have been having to charge my iPhone 4 from my USB port in my computer. I have bought new wall chargers and car chargers, and even tried a few friends chargers and they will not work on my phone what so ever. I can use the same cord from the wall adapter that will not work, and plug it into my computer and it works perfectly.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my S6 the week it came out, so I've had it for a decent amount of time, without any problems until last week. One day I experienced a sharp battery drain, and plugged it in my PC to charge. To my surprise it wouldn't charge! It shows that it's charging, but it wont go up in charge. The only way to charge it now is with its own fast charger. I fiddled with it a bit, (cleared cache, uninstalled apps, etc. ) and I can say the battery drain problem seems to be fixed for now. But I'm still unable to charge it up via the PC (or a laptop) USB port.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI was able to charge my lumia 900 with my car (Toyota Prius 2010) USB until the latest firmware upgrade. Only catch was to use original cable came along with phone. It didn't accept any other micro USB cables. But after the latest update even the original cable doesn't work! All the cables works well to charge the phone when connected to laptop. I am having hard time using it as i frequently travel.Ideally i should be able to charge with any micro USB cable in the car. Could you guys suggest any workarounds or fixes?Not to mention my iPhone was perfect in USB recharge though it is a slow recharge.

My phone errors out when I setup the account through the phone. Koodo does not allow setting it up through a browser. i have a usb webcam but the quality isnt very good, i wanted to use my iphone camera as a webcam. i know there are apps that allow you to do that, but they are all through wifi. i dont want to use wifi because when the connection gets low the camera shuts off. thats not very reliable. i was looking for something that allows you to use the camera plugged in the usb port. just as any other webcam.

I have a line with ATT right now for my iphone (1 year left on contract) and I want to take this number and use it for a new phone on Verizon.
Do I have to cancel my ATT contract in order to do that?

My phone worked fine this morning. Then all of the sudden when I placed or recieved calls I could not hear anything, the reciever could hear me. I could text, play games, get on the net, etc. Then I noticed I had a software update. So, I connected to itunes and performed a sync. At the end the phone powered off and on. Then itunes stated the sync couldn't be completed. So, I unplugged the phone from the computer, rebooted it, and connected it back to itunes. Now, itunes does not recognize my phone and the phone screen has a USB port and itunes logo on it. What do I do?

Well the other day I went to use my new headphones on my iPhone4 and the sound was terrible. The sound is distorted and crackly, to get the other speaker to go on I have to put the volume at 100% and that makes my ears bleed lol. I plug the headphone in my computer and they worked fine. I tried another set of headphones on my iPhone and Only sound would come out of one speaker. Same thing happens if I plug it into a stero. When I hook up the USB port in my car, the text alert notification is muted and the volume cannot be adjusted. This happens with both iphones operating on 5.1 and in two different vehicles. I think it has something to do with the 5.1 update.

The charge port seems to be damaged as it cuts out when connected to my car stereo and it takes some jiggling to get it to connect to iTunes and to charge. My kids have ripped it off the cord and docking port on many occasions...I assume it's damaged from this! I don't have the apple care and don't have time to go to an appointment for them to just tell me they need to replace the whole phone.

What's the 1" long port in the center on the right side of my iPhone 4? In fact it's the only thing on the right side of my iPhone 4. The port on my iphone 5s recently broke. I haven't backed my phone up in weeks and since I can no longer plug my phone into my laptop, I'm not sure how I can retrieve my photos, notes, etc. that were placed on my phone after the last time it was backed up. I know my phone has a sim card but I've never manually saved anything to it so I guess my second question is does my phone automatically save info on the sim card and if so, what type of info does it save on it?

The cam is connected to the mini display port do there is no port available for the VGA cable anymore. Do I need to use a different port for the projector? Should I buy a video card?
Can't connect the camera via USB as that is too slow and it will freeze.
