IPhone :: Is 4s Able To Use The Full Capabilities Of A "4G" Network
May 31, 2012
Trick Question since 4g is many things to all the phone companies since there's no real "standard". . But if my AT&T connection shows a 4g symbol, can my IPhone 4s use the full speed and capabilities of AT&T's 4g network? I usually find decent phone coverage with 3-4 bars, but often my data connectivity is dead or minimal.
im using a 32 gigs iPhone 5s.and im coming across quit a few network issues.my service provider is the best in the market(air tel).when my phone showing full signal strength it does not activate 3g data.and when ever i on my data all the signal strength will disappear and show no service, till that i used to have full signal strength.
I would like to upgrade the ISO for better dim situations, and other settings as well.Camera hardware/firmware to know if Apple could enable capabilities like this on the iPhone camera (4S)?
Although the network bar shows full connectivity. My SE Xperia Neo V notification bar says no service due to which I'm not able to make/receive calls. My phone had fallen in water so got it repaired by authorized service center. They changed all the parts but still I'm getting this problem.
I can't make incoming/outgoing calls or send receive SMS on my phone (I get the 'Not Registered on Network' message). Interestingly there is about a 5 second window right after I turn on/off Airplane mode I can send/receive SMS and make a phonecall - the phonecall will last as long as I want, but when I hang up I'm back to square one!I have no data connectivity I can connect to WiFi etc.I have full reception i.e. full bars My phone is not blacklisted (I checked IMEI with network operator)Other SIM card won't work on my phone My SIM card works on another phone When I go into settings to select mobile network I am 'Unable to connect. Try later'i have reset the APN settings
It has very poor signal reception among all phone I've ever used. I can never get full bar for wcdma, even in gsm only, the signal bar could drop to zero. Do not say it's a simcard or network provider problem because I had try everything like put my sim card in other phone, try another simc ard in my phone. I even make a comparison with xperia play and the xplay does not have this problem. Today I'm updating my phone with the latest update from pc companion, it still did not solve the problem..
I realize the C3-01 does not have GPS capabilities but there appears to be map apps available that I would assume act like paper maps and serve as a reference source. Any recommendations for some sort of mapping capabilities on the phone?
Does E6 have NFC capabilities? If Yes how to use it to pair and transfer data with other NFC phones? I read somewhere that C7 has got its NFC enabled by the Anna update. My friend has one and I am looking forward to trying this out.
In the google map app, I saved a region (offline), however I noticed that the avenue names, driving diretions in street are not available. Is that correct?

Also, Can photos be downloaded from the phone to the computer? and can photos from the computer be uploaded to the camera? 3. Is web access limited to certain sites? Can email be retrieved on this phone?

My Nokia C3-01 randomly gets its touch capabilities disabled that I need to remove its battery just to restart it. Plus, it also restarts randomly then starts up very slowly at that same moment.
I have reformatted it with the latest version using Nokia Suite 3.5.34, I think this has something to do with the patch, it does not happen more frequent compare from the previous version of its software.
I'm having problems connecting OVI to a Nokia N8-00 handset via Bluetooth. The Add New Device wizard is able to detect the phone but when selecting it from the list and proceeding it stays on "Checking the Bluetooth capabilities of your device." for some 20 seconds after which it eventually fails with the error of "Failed to connect to your device. Problems occurred while authorizing the Bluetooth connection between your device and computer."
I've verified that both devices are configured as authorized by their respective counterpart. Also tried to remove the pairing from both the laptop and phone and re-pair them again - same problem. I am able to sync the phone with OVI via USB no problem. I am also able to use my OVI with another Nokia phone (E72) via Bluetooth without any issues. This points me to a possible problem with Bluetooth on the N8 phone itself but I don't have any way to prove it.
i have a blackberry bold 9700 v 5.0.0.862 ( bundle 1446, platform 5.1.0.175 I fully charged my battery monday night, unplugged it before going to sleep. When i woke up the phone was turned off, when i turned on i got a white screen with a battery with a red line through it but no blackberry loading screen.I didn't know what was wrong so i plugged phone in to charge a bit. when there was no change i unplugged it and held the power button. Woke up this morning to ringing phone i answered it had the chance to say hello then it displayed " BATTERY DRAINED TURNING OFF HANDHELD " !!! Went to turn back on got the battery screen again , finally after an hour or more of trying to turn back on it finally loaded and guess what?? THE BATTERY IS SITTING AT 100%!!I don't know what's going on but my phone keeps saying the battery is drained and the phone turns off but the battery is still full.

Currently running Windows 7 with iOS4 GMC. Tried to restore to 3.1.3, had errors and tried instructions and couldn't get it to restore. So i restored' back to 4.0 GMC. When the real deal comes out Monday what's easiest/best/safest way to do it. Can i just "upgrade" from the GMC to GM firmware like I would from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3. Or will I have to do same kind special restore like I did to go from 3.1.3 to 4.0GMC?
Anyway to get videos off of the 3GS at full res? Upload tricks or service, email, app, or whatever. I'm just trying to get videos off of my 3GS at full res on the go, without a cable. Non-jailbroken.

iPhone 4S, not locked to carrier. Suddenly I noticed that may people start to complain to me about my phone is switch off. But same time phone is on and has full GSM bar with 3G. Once I make an experiment, when my friend Skype me about my phone is off i tried to make a call, but call is won't connect, i even can't hear a beeps. I tried to reboot the phone and in a few hours story repeats. Then I tried to resent network settings. Won't help. I tryed to restore my iPhone with iTunes with latest firmware. Not luck. Last thing I did is replaced my SIM card with my carrier. No luck.I saw on internet, that there are a lot of people having same issue with no luck of fixing it. My phone is on warranty, but or local dialer won't replace it, because it's bug not consistently seen.
What it says is this.."Provisioning Status".."The network is configuring your device".then it says "Your device could not be registered with the wireless network. contact your wireless service provider",but i can call and receive sms!Any suggestions?
